The entrance is not expensive. It was a fun way to spend one hour while in Tozeur. I would leave this visit for the end of your stay.

Important place to be visited during your tour in Tozeur. The 3 museums are well done and you get the full story of the evolution of the man on earth and historical steps for Tunisia. Take the kids is very important also for them

I recommend you take the full tour. They have an excellent exhibition of the history of Tunisia. A historic gallery and also a very fun experience for kids(!!) where they showcase scenes from 1001 nights stories (Alladin, Sinbad, Ali Baba). Audio guides available when you press buttons and speakers tell you about the history. Also sound effects. If you know the stories it will make the experience event greater).
In one room couples from around the world have written messages on the mirrors.
Excellent experience in a Beautiful house and surroundings.

Tozeur is a city in southwest Tunisia. The city is located northwest of Chott el Djerid, in between this Chott and the smaller Chott el Gharsa. It is the capital of Tozeur Governorate.
