Hangover corner aka Steve’s Bar

Came here 7 years ago and came here today, and the cozy atmosphere is just right, as it was the last time.

Full pints of Guiness and Kilkenny were on special for 210 and were delicious and well worth the price.

Love the "tucked away" vibe, friendly owner, and eclectic decor.

I'll be back again. Hopefully before annother 7 years go by!

Really cool and relaxed little bar frequented by older expats. The staff there are really awesome and friendly. They'll pour you a proper drink! Thanks Lala!

this is a great little British bar, fab atmosphere! always made to feel welcome, no being hassled by ”ladies” or street sellers.

Fantastic pint of Guinness for 200 baht (€5.15). Lovely and cold, good enough stick off the glass and tastes great.

Nice bar pretty good beer selection, they have several light beers too, which you can’t always find.

Owners are really friendly, helped me order some food and even walked next door for me.

Bit of a British feel.

Great bar tucked away in a side street but with a great atmosphere. Steve is a great host and makes everyone feel welcome. Beers are a reasonable price too.

Great bar!! Found it by chance and had a great time there. The owners Steve and Lala are awesome! Small bar with great atmosphere. Would love to go back there some day.

Great bar just off the main road and close to the night market. Lovely drinks and the best atmosphere created by Lala. Big TVs with whatever sport you want on with reasonably priced beers too

One of the simple joys in life: a good pub/bar with staff that makes you feel welcome. Good music and a good vibe. The place more than gives back what you put in.

Steve is a great guy, helped me find the football game I wanted. Cheap beer and let's you bring outside food to his bar.

Excellent service great selection of beers local and imported and if you want sports he can get every thing this weekend we are watching Bathurst v8s from Australia go the mighty ford's lol

A nice place to have a drink or two. I walked in after being out all day in Chiang Rai and the bar owner was sitting down with some of the guests and was having a good time it seemed like. He walked up to me at the bar and asked "Hello friend, what can I get for you?" Perfect English and very warm and welcoming. I ordered a Singha and received an ice cold beer with a chilled glass. I sat down and took a deep breath after a long day, and man that cold beer tasted like heaven. Western rock kinda music in the background and bar owner went back to the front of the bar to his company. Wasn't many people there at that time. But I'd definitely go back to this place and bring friends. Had a damn nice little chill time here after a lot of stressful running around town. Decorations was nice and felt very kinda cozy and "homey". Bar owner was great. Check it out if you're in town.

Nice friendly bar in the style of an English pub. Guinness, Kilkenny, Magners cider and San Miguel on draft. All sports available.

Lovely bar to enjoy a cold beer! Owners were so friendly and kept us full of bar snacks!! Authentic bars like this need us after covid!

I showed up back in the afternoon it was a Sunday and then 3 girls including the owner of Hi 5 Bar showed up it was a funny afternoon Steve was a great host would recommend everyone go this bar and enjoy the humour and few cold stubbies will be back when got time of work again
