Phunaka Golf Academy (Coach Bob)

Very nice practice facility with alot to offer, Plenty of bays. Nicely spread out so it never feels crowded. I am just starting to learn to play golf so I took a lesson from coach Bob on my second visit and he was very helpful. His English is good and his instructions are clear. He was patient with me and helped me a lot with my understanding of everything and my swing. He also took many videos for me to analyze on my own with explaining what I needed to correct and think about to tighten up my swing. Definitely recommend. Even an experienced golfer can get a lot of value from this. Pricing is reasonable. I will definitely be going back several times on my long term stays in Phuket.

My wife and I had zero experience in golf before meeting Bob. He explained all the basic details, including stance, warming up, and how to swing your body properly to hit every ball. He also tailored our learning journey to the number of days we had for our trip, covering as much as possible while ensuring we had fun.

I truly appreciate his work, and there's no doubt that having a coach when you're just starting your golf journey is valuable. I highly recommend taking a few lessons with Bob at the driving range to make your practice or introduction to golf the most efficient and enjoyable experience. I'm confident that my wife and I will enroll in his course the next time we come back to Phuket

I've been learning with him for 8 years he's a very professional coach
He is very friendly never gets annoyed when we did wrong.I wanted to be a professional golfer
so that's why I choose to learn with him. For people that wanted to play golf I really reccomend coach bob you will have alot of fun and full with information and details.

If you want to progress and feel the game - call instructor Bob.
If you want to waste a couple hours mastering the technique that may be far from golfing don’t call Bob, practice on your own

Coach Bobby is great. Patient, technically sound and encouraging....and that's with me. Especially good with my 4 y/o, now has a reasonable confident swing to build upon.

I followed the Level 1 golf lessons with coach Bob. I would like to highlight his professionalism and his teaching skill. I have almost started from zero (beginner level), after 10 hours of lessons I’m much more confident with my golf. I can now enjoy on a golf course. I recommend Mr. Bob to everyone. The driving range, chipping and putting area fit the requirements to practice golf. Prices are reasonable, I plan to perform Level 2 and 3 at the next opportunity.

I'm a "senior citizen" beginner at golf and enrolled in 30 one hour lessons with Pro Bob. Very happy with the instruction I received and now feel ready to meet the challenge of playing a round of golf! Pro Bob was very good at explaining the theory and demonstrating correct technique. He also provided excellent feedback during each lesson to help me better understand how to self-correct when practising on your own. He can speak good enough English so that instructions and feedback are clear. My programme also included sessions in the simulator from which I learned a lot about my stance and my swing. The pitching and putting area is great for practice. Can recommend.

Driving range is fine for every day practice and lessons. You have grass mats to hit from. its very cheap, 60 baht per 1 bucket of balls (40 balls) .
Also you have a wedge / putting area where you can practice your shortgame. This area has 4 geens, distance of 30, 50 and 72 feet. As well 1 putting green. Usage Fee 120 baht as long as you like .
The academy has several Pro's you can choose from, BOB the Pro i met personal, is a very friendly Thai with very good english skills and is very helpful. Children and group glasses are offerded and they have top of the line computer equipment / swing analizer/ screen... in an airconditioned room. ...
A canteen where you can get your cold drinks and food served to your hitting area....

I did take a lesson with Mr.Bob that was really helpful to improve my swing he just made the game easier for me. Nice driving range. And the price really worth it.

Very good , this place has aircon to or you can also do short game, further more more you can do track man .Track man can help your game in golf because you can play around or just practise.Track man can tell you many things such as how far you hit the ball how much is it right or left or even how fast . My opinion is that you should really come here!
