Sawadee Cafe & Bar

A welcome and fairly new spot in town run by a Brit and a Thai lady, Stewart & May. A group of us, riding the MHS Loop, stopped here for dinner & drinks. Food was good and the service was excellent. We were all made to feel very welcome.

Sawadee Cafe & Bar in Mae Sariang provided an unforgettable experience that went beyond culinary delights.

river. The owners are so generous and make you feel like family. Good pool table, stick around and next thing you know you will be playing the locals for a shot of
Rice whiskey! Definitely cannot miss this place while on your way through town.

Stuart and Mae are the absolute best.

My friend Kailey and I stopped here on our journey on the Mae Hong Son loop. It was Christmas night, so we came in for just one drink, but it turned into a few.😌

Stuart and Mae treated us like family. They have worked really hard to create such a welcoming environment for locals, expats, and travelers alike. We wish them all the best success and can’t wait to meet again one day.

We were strolling in Mae Sariang and found this cosy bar on the riverside. The owners are super friendly, the crowd isn't the annoying tourist type but an eclectic and vibrant bunch. Thanks Mae and Stuart for this unforgettable Christmas night.

Undoubtedly, the best bar in Mae Sariang. The hospitality shown by Stuart was outstanding. My one n only complaint was that they are only open at 5pm; should be earlier.

We stumbled across this place from our hotel and we're so glad we found this place. The burger was fresh and came with a generous portion of chips. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming and the choice of drinks was good too. Will definitely make another visit when we're back in town again.

While on a Harley tour from Chiang Rai to Phuket we stayed in Mae Sariang. While we were wandering along a soi along the river we came across this little cafe/ bar. The owners Stuart and Thidsana were extremely welcoming. They have a pool table and snacks. Great atmosphere. I would highly recommend Sawadee Cafe and bar to anyone looking for a cold beer and a game of pool.

They also have a great selection of booze, and cocktails. The atmosphere is really relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there! If you're in Mae Sariang, be sure to visit.

Fantastic atmosphere, familiar but at the same time festive and fun. Very nice and very clean place with a magnificent view of the river. Stuart and the rest of the staff are super welcoming and helpful. Although no vegetarian dishes are mentioned on the menu, an absolutely fantastic soup was prepared upon our request. They also have a wide selection of liquors that are not easy to find around. Unfortunately it is our last evening, otherwise we would return tomorrow too. If you pass by Mae Sariang you absolutely must come!

Not gonna lie best bar I Have been too in Thailand great atmosphere.., stopped by from a long motorcycle ride and couldn't be happier with how I was treated. Staff and owner made sure everyone in the bar were having a great experience lost at pool and had to do a shot but rules are rules. Highly recommend

Very good food ! ... (!!!!) Best fried rice we ever ate (in our 5 weeks in Thailand).

We enjoyed the owner friendliness. He was very charming. He excused the waiting time for the food (we waited like 10 minutes) so it wasn't necessary.

We ate the fried rice chicken with fried egg and the fried rice green curry, drank 3 leo's and water. It was 340bath, very reasonable price for this amazing food. We did even get a free shot ! It was very.nice.

Absolutely love this place! The relaxed vibe outside, coupled with pool games indoors and drinks at the bar, make it a go-to spot. The owners are fantastic, offering excellent service and catering to all customers. The bar's setting is both beautiful and classic, with affordable prices for drinks and food

We had a lovely evening with Stuart and Mae. They were incredibly warm and welcoming and made us feel very special especially my son who had turned 21 the day before. We felt like some western food and the burger and carbonara were homemade and delicious. The pool table was also great fun unless you lose. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

WOW I absolutely loved this place. As soon as my friend and I walked in, we were greeted with such kindness and generosity. Mae and Stuart are incredible people and instantly made us feel at home. We had so much fun that we originally stayed for 1 beer, and 6 hours later we were still there. Thank you guys for showing us an incredible time in Mae Sariang!!!

Had a really great time! The food was delicious, we tried chicken sweet and sour and panang chicken. Prices are reasonable. The service was very lovely and attentive! Highly recommend this place with its beautiful view of the river.

Had a nice evening at Sawedee Bar. First we had a diner, which was very good. A lot of choice in the menu, from western food to typical Thai food. After the diner we played some games of 8 ball pool with other visitors, which was a nice mix of locals and tourists!

Fantastic bar! The food is amazing, great music, impressive range of drinks, nice pool table and Stuart makes you feel right at home. Would recommend!
