Lots of seafood products here and is much bigger train market compare to Mae Klong but over here is not many tourist and is close to mahachai pier pay 3baht to cross river and there is a cafe name pier 1964 if I am not mistaken who serve good coffee

Good local seafood market.Cheap and good quality.

The Mahachai Seafood Market is only a 55-minute ride from Bangkok, so the seats don’t feel all that hard. I like the freedom that comes from riding trains, compared with planes. Not much waiting in line, you can roam around the cabin, using the bathroom at will, and you can always get off the train and explore if something catches your eye.

active seafood market with many local vendors. busiest in the morning, but open through the evening. both fresh and fried seafood available. the area also has a ferry across the harbor, large public square and both chinese and thai temples. various restaurants available, as well as street food.

You will be passing by the Mahachai Market if you travelling to the famous Maeklong Railway Market.

This is a seafood market, lots of seafood available ranging from fishes, prawns, crabs, seashelves, octopus and etc.

They are fresh and along the side of the roads, there’re many stalls selling them, pricing varies and depend on the stalls and also the size. Lots of local Thai come here to do their marketing of fresh seafood.

They’re also stall selling vegetables, snacks and fruits as well.

Not far from Bangkok and easy to do in a day. Go there by car, motorbike, train or ask Recreational Bangkok Biking to make it a bicycle fun adventure.

I wonder that the price of seafood is really cheap and fresh. Also dry seafood, I got shred dry squid only 380 THB/KG. As far as I remembered, Live black crab 350 THB/KG, Live prawn 200 THB/KG.

This is where the mahachai train station located, take 5mins boat cost you 3thb, then take another train to maeklong

Maha Chai is a market near the train station. It's cheap because fishing boats coming to Maha Chai pick you up and sell them yourself. It takes 1 hour by train from Bangkok. Seafood is all fresh. Every hour from Bangkok's Thonburi area, Wong Wien Yai trains depart and arrive at Maha Chai.
The market is close to the Mahachai Pier.
From the Pier can take the ferry to Charom pier across the road to the mangrove forest.

Early morning market . Sea food more , meat also there . Dried sea food u get here. Vegetables fresh and cheaper. It’s crowded . Won’t get parking nearby. Have to search or go to paid parking nearby mall or temple area. Many types of spices and vegetables u can get here. All types of fruits too cheap.part of the market is on railway track . They lift them and allow train to pass and again arrange orderly. It’s a place where walking on railway track is not an offence. In india you required platform ticket even if u enter and not travel by train. Here it’s free to do shopping on the platform only buy ticket if you want to travel.

Fresh sea food market not so far from Bangkok

The market is huge. Lots of seafood varietes along the street for sale with cheap price. Fresh and alive prawns, crabs and many more that you can choose. They even have dried foods. They even sell foam boxes and ice to keep your seafood fresh. They will even help to send it to your car and you do not need to worried carrying it yourself while continuing to buy more seafood. It is a great place for visiting and shopping for seafood.
