This is by far the coolest experience ive had. To be able to help bath and feed these animals who crave human interaction was the most special thing I’ve experienced with an animal. The staff cares for these elephants deeply and you can tell just by the way the elephants walk when they’re around their caretakers. It is 100% worth the trip to Kanchanaburi. We did a 1/2 day which was 1800 baht ($50) per person. We didn’t feel rushed and we had more than enough time to feed them, prepare a meal for them, give them a mud bath and scrub them before heading back to the main area for a wonderful lunch!

This was 100% the highlight of my Thailand trip! The people here love what they do and are enthusiastic about getting you into it too. The majestic elephants are mostly rescues from circuses and zoos and living their best lives now, getting pampered by guests from all over. If you love animals, this is a must on your bucket list. I will likely be back for the 2 day stay someday!

Incredible interactions with elephants. You spend hours with the elephants interacting with them in different ways. I would recommend the half day option. Full day one is very similar, just a little bit drawn out. They serve a meal during your experience that had a lot of variety in terms of Thai food. Great gift shop too. Overall excellent

So much better than we could have dreamed! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the elephants but he was also just a good time - he made the tour so much fun! The elephants seemed truly happy and they weren’t forced to do anything they didn’t want to. Very humane conditions. Over all a must do!

10/5 Cannot reccomend enough. You cannot go to thailand and not come here. These are the best treated elephants, all rescues from circuses, and you get to feed bathe and give hugs. Just do yourself a favor and book a time for the best activity there is to do a Thailand. Suitable for all ages. Do the full day activity and you can also get pickup from Bangkok. All very reasonably priced - we paid 8300 baht for two people and the drive.

MUST DO IN THAILAND!! MUST!!! Very beautiful and professional establishment along with all employees. From the Driver who picks you up and waits there to drop you back to your place. To the staff that greet you and the staff that guide you around. Lunch is buffet, the shop they have has mosquito spray and sun block. Drinks and snacks. Beautiful activities and lots of time with the elephants. MUST DO!! So up close and personal with the daily living of the elephants.

We had an extremely fun day at the sanctuary. The elephants were very friendly. We got to feed them, bathe them and play with them. The elephants were roaming freely and were very playful. Our guide was very helpful in taking for us plenty of pics. They served delicious home cooked Thai food. It was worth the trip. Highly recommended.

By far one of the most memorable life experiences I’ve had. The staff and guide was so so so wonderful and extremely friendly and funny. The elephants are in the best hands imaginable. If anyone thinks it’s too expensive, just think about the fact that elephants eat about 90-270 kg of food every day and someone has to pay for it :-)

We opted for the 2 day program.
Our guide, Kim, was exceptional.
We had many interactions with the elephants, and got to learn about the sanctuary/ program, as well as the individual elephants’ stories and personalities.
The meals provided were great, with vegetarian friendly choices.
The overnight stay was comfortable and pleasant.
All the staff (drivers, chefs, admin, mahouts, guides, etc) made our experience very special. They are one big family!
Thank you for having us! 🙏

The best experience ever.
I was able to walk along with the elephants, feed them, gave them a mud bath, swim in the river with them and just enjoy! Excellent service

This was an incredible experience. One we are sure not to forget. The elephants are gentle giants and they are treated with care and respect. Our guide for the day was so knowledgeable and walked us through the process of taking care of the elephants. This is a must-do if you are in the area.

Elephant World in Thailand is a must-visit for anyone who cares about ethical tourism and animal welfare. This incredible business has saved elephants from tourist parks and farms where they were forced to perform for human entertainment, and now provides them with a peaceful sanctuary where they can live out their lives in dignity.

The handlers at Elephant World are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. They clearly care deeply about the elephants in their care, and it shows in the way they interact with them. These gentle giants are treated with respect and compassion at all times.

Our guide, May, was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the work that Elephant World is doing. He went out of his way to make sure that we had an incredible experience, and our kids loved every second of it.

Overall, we can't recommend Elephant World enough. If you're looking for a way to experience these magnificent creatures in a way that is both fun and ethical, this is the place to go. It's an experience that you and your family will remember for a lifetime.

This was a lot of fun. They treat the elephants very well! Make sure you bring water shoes. Swim trunks and a change of clothes. They have showers there, so you can clean up after.

What a wonderful oasis for all Elephant lovers! From the arrival there after a very convenient transfer from Bangkok brought us directly in contact with these intelligent giants. Melon and pumpkin slices we could feed them and admire the flexible trunks and Look them into their brown kind eyes.
A lot of explanations our Mahout guide provided a lot of insights into the life of elephants.
Interaction even very close-up we experienced while feeling, walking them, bathing with them in mud (who choses to do so) and cleansing in the clear-flowing river and more made an amazing day. Thanks everyone involved!

Enjoyed a day of feeding, giving a mud bath to, and then washing the elephants in the river. Idyllic location next to river and mountains. Highly recommend.

A life time memory made with family, the overnight stay was well worth it. We were the only family that stayed and it was like a VIP experience the whole time. The elephants are genuinely happy and are well looked after. We will be back again for sure.

A spacious park for the 11 rescued elephants, from 4yrs toddler elephant to 78yrs old grandma elephant. The elephants were quite calm and tame, it was a great experience to observe their lives and interact with the elephants.
The sanctuary area is quite distant from downtown Bangkok but it is worth visiting. The cost was a bit high yet it was still a priceless experience. Remember to wear waterproof or quick dry kinds of footwear and bring additional clothes for change after feeding and bathing with the elephants!

Did a full day tour. It cost 5900 baht including the transportation. It’s 2500 baht not including taxi. It was an amazing experience I will not forget. The elephants seem happy and well cared for. You get to prepare food and feed the elephants. We also got to cut some banana trees for the elephants. You give them a mud bath and wash them off in the river. The buffet for lunch was solid as well. They do an amazing job here rescuing elephants and caring for them. I really recommend it if you are in Thailand.
