Chor Ngar Thong Erawan

Such a beautiful small hotel right at the river. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a nice balcony with view of the river. It’s a family run business and everybody is so nice and helpful! The food was so good, I ate two dishes everything, because the taste was amazing. Perfect spot, if you want to get to erawan national park early in the morning.
They also have kayaks that you can use for free!!!

Very friendly service and great place to stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly. We were able to get a very nice upgrade from the mainland to a room on the river.
We were able to rent a motorbike for 350 THB per day and we're looked after in every way they could. Would definitely recommend.

P.S. Grab cabs are not always available. The Erawan - Kanchanaburi bus does pass the hotel. Ask the staff and they will flag them down for you so you can get on.

Amazing place with very friendly people. We had a nice room, good bed, proper bathroom and a balcony with beautiful riverside view. We went to the erawan falls by bus, the staff helped us with everything se the trip was simple thanks to them. I highly recommend staying here!

Chor Ngar Thong Resort is just amazing.
Very close to Erawan-Falls, it’s a 15mn drive by public bus (costs about 30 Baht p.P to get there from the final station, other way around was 60 Baht one way).

The Resort consists of two guest buildings: one main building and some floating houses. We booked a room in the main building but upon arrival we could choose where we wanted to stay, so the owner showed us both options and we went for the house boat.

The main bildung is modern and clean and looked very comfortable.
The floating houses seem to be a bit older and might be a little bit less comfortable but they are located perfectly and the views are amazing.

From the veranda of the floating houses you can grab a boat and have a trip on the river (life wests are available next to the pier).

The veranda also has a little table and chairs and a fisher net to lie on. By doing so you lie over the water and you can enjoy the great view.

To the left there is an amazing little mountain and to the right there’s even more ridgets.

From 7-9am there’s breakfast.
And until 7pm you can order dinner. We did that and had an amazing dinner on the veranda in the sunset.
It was lovely and really yummy.

The owner, a young lady, is very friendly and speaks very good English.

All in all this place is paradise.

We enjoyed the stay and had a very pleasant experience. The room is clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff and the most amazing river view. Staff does not speak English lucky my partner does. They provide a basic motor bike to rent to go around and enjoy the nature. Not far from Erawan Waterfall. There is a small market that has 7/11. May be 1 km far from the resort. The motor bike helped a lot. its worth renting if you don't have a car.

* You can also enjoy doing kayaking
* The Owner is really helpful and friendly
* Erawan national park is hardly 15-20 mins by car. The hotel also has car service and its very cheap. We just paid 200 baht to visit erawan waterfalls (drop off & pick up).
* Breakfast was nice.
* Rooms are pretty decent and comfortable.
* Upstair rooms are big and have balconies.
* Floating rooms are also available.
* I have been here 3 times and had a really good experience, very homely feeling

Great place to stay. Right at the river, can cool off and swim in the river after a long ride with the big bike. Breakfast is OK and the staff is kind, too.

Very nice host and ideal place to stay near the river with kayak available and the erawan national park in 10mn drive.

We loved this place...amazing views of the river and mountains as well as great helpful owner. Rooms are clean and aircon working like a treat...bus to Erawan falls and Kanchanaburi stops just a front of the property...if you want to get there from Kanchanaburi do not get taxi...get the cheap bus instead...
