Mae Fah Luang - Chiang Rai International Airport (CEI)

A very efficient airport. I was checked in and through security within minutes. FYI - there are limited services once inside the gate, so do last shopping and eating before going through security. There’s only a Black Canyon coffee inside and what appears to be a members club inside. Great little airport! #travelthailand

Small but nice airport with very clean toilets. There was a food court on the second floor and some other restaurant chain including Doi Kham, Black Canyon, Dairy Queen, Potato Corner and some other local souvenir shops. The check in counter was very efficient.

Nice convenient airport located 10 minutes from the city center by car. The airport is a little dated but in the check-in hall there are plenty of food and coffee stalls. The departure hall is a single hall with only a couple of stalls. Check-in and departure process is fast.

Old but convenient airport. One thing I don’t like is that domestic departure halls are separate but the lounge is available only one.

Nice and good airport. No public transportation to town. You can call taxi or use indrive or bolt to town. Taxi price is about 150 baht

Nice smaller airport, very nice prices and food court. Security control brisk. They also have new self service kiosks here including self baggage drop off.

The airport is small and easy to navigate. Check in staff are very friendly and security has improved at the time I advertise been there. The planes are easy to find their gate and easy baggage collection. The international departure is great and the Immagration staff are friendly and international arrivals are friendly and kind staff. CIQ is also available for connecting from domestic to international flights witch is a time saver.

Small and convenient airport.

This is a small regional airport.
It is mainly on the ground floor with 1st floor for International Departures via the Air Bridges.
There is a large selection of shops and cafes in the main concourse.
Free WiFi and plug to charge your mobile.

It is very good international Airport in Northern part of Thailand. All services are available here.
I love Chiang Rai. It have natural resources and good weather

Nice little compact airport with about 10 places for coffee or drinks or food! Around 10 shops for last minute souvenirs. Up at International Departure Gate, has a Black Canyon Coffee, a gift shop (prices not too high), & a Vat Refund for Tourist.

Lovely small but well organized airport. It’s all there, food, transportation and enough space.

Give a more than 5 stars for putting the cart in advance. I never saw this before. People were really nice. Good stuff to buy.

A great airport to fly in and out of. No queues. Car park and drop off by entrance. So easy.

Small and simple airport, efficient and fast services and no problems

Chiang Rai International Airport is a small airport but the area is clean and safe. Standards on management of occupational safety, hygiene and working environment are also quite good.
There are many stores in the department store. Suitable for urgent travel. This area is a 2-storey building, providing services for domestic and international passengers.
There are many exciting festivals for tourists to enjoy while traveling through many exhausting flights!
