Laekhong River Resort

Really nice & large resort along the Mekong river. Approximately 2 km to town & the Saturday night market. The resort is still expanding. It has a large restaurant & bar at the river front as well as a coffee shop. Ample parking. Prices are high end for this town.
One recommendation: please do add a towel-rail and some hooks to hang towels & clothes.

Nothing negative so far, off the mainstream tourist route so it's quiet, location is fine but limited once away from the hotel location.

We actually had a very nice room but the only downside is the hard mattress, which was quite hard and unforgiving and not a great sleep.
Breakfast was very good and staff was excellent.

One of the best view of Mekong. The river is straight and wide. Unfortunately, we have not stayed as planned due to unexpected family matter. My evaluation of room therefore is only 4 stars, considering only on a brief usage. Will definitely revisited

Clean, comfortable, good sized rooms with a nice pool and a great restaurant on the banks of the Maekong with impeccable, friendly service. Bit of a long walk (1.6km) into the surprisingly pretty little town of Khemmarat which has a lot of older wooden building, a bit of a smaller, less touristy version of Chiang Khan

beautiful location right on the river. outside fun things like swings and little tower to climb for a view. comfortable room, excellent restaurant. moderate price, in Thailand that's fine of course

I love this location and the service in the restaurant. Some rooms dont have wardrobes but I happen to to like the uncluttered and interesting decor. All the chalets have meaningful quotes outside and worth a read. This is real Thailand and the power of the Mekon is impressive. The owners have a stunning cafe next door with European food and beautifully decorated.. my 4th visit here and perfect to get away from it all. Lovely town and walking street on a Saturday something to savour.

Stayed here for one night on our tour through Isaan. Beautiful location besides the Mekong river, very clean and modern. Great beds in the rooms and simple but tasty breakfast. Khemmarat is also well worth a visit.

A quaint resort nearby Khemarat walking street. Several private events going on. Well kept property. There are multiple eating areas throughout. Rooms were modernized with current equipment and fashion. Firm bedding is a must for a good night's rest.

Stayed here for 1 night. Lovely food. Clean & nice staff. Rooms are a good size. Comfortable bed. Will definitely return in the future. Reasonable price as well.
