Best bar in Chiang Rai, the owners are so lovely and welcoming. We felt so comfortable drinking till late. We played pool and four in a row and they have uno and so many other games. Would massively recommend for a great local pub vibe

I accidentally elbowed my drink and mama cat, the suay mak mak owner of this bar, replaced it for free ❤‍🩹 Hospitable and a pretty bar. Must go for when you’re here in Chiang Rai

My wife and I came for what was meant to be 1 drink....... we ended up playing some of the many board games here, and played several games of pool, which lead to several more drinks. We then met the owners of the bar amd played pool with them. They were absolutely lovey people. Great bar and great atmosphere.

Amazing place of hospitality, Thai culture and pure fun. Come Stop by for a few drinks and you will leave with friends for life.. Meet the owners (Sam and Cat) listening to their amazing story all while drinking a cold one jamming to live music. (Guitar players welcome!) What we thought would be just 1 drink ended up being one heck of a night to remember... Do your self a favor.. stop by, have a drink and come JamWith Sam!!!!!

Sam still loves to jam! If you play an instrument, ask they will happily oblige! Free pool and they always have a smile on! 2 night's in a row and wouldn't want to go anywhere else! Prices are reasonable but the host's make it incredible value!

Great bar, the bar tender was very friendly. We loved the ambience right before dinner time, very quite and with nice music. Also, they have plenty of board games!!

Cat & Sam are genuine friendly people who will welcome you.
Jam with Sam is a motto there. He welcomes anyone who sings or plays something to jam with him.
Had some fun jamming guitar & singing with him last month (Nov. 2020). ps. He has a selection of instruments to play.

Best place in Chiang Rai. It has a free pool, games, and very friendly staff. When we were there it was hot and she kept adjusting the fans to make sure we weren't hot. She also brought some snacks out for us as well. 100% recommend!

Tiny backstreet cultural bar…pure pride in a little business…excellent service constantly cleaned whilst you are here, cheap drinks, live music, sports and games galore…honestly if u want a taste of a local bar doing its very best with what it has you have to stop by! the owner couldn’t be more courteous and attentive…overall feeling of being made welcome 🙏

Beautiful, colourful and cozy bar run by an amazing and endlessly kind woman😊 the pool table is very nice, there's boardgames and darts -- all in all, everything you could want to have a lovely night🙌 drinks are on the expensive side

Absolutely love this place. Cat who runs the place is just amazing. Music is good and always a great atmosphere. She even provides games in case your company is a bit dull.

Really nice bar in the heart of the city. We were looking for a place to go late on a Monday evening and Cat Bar was open. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

The owners are nice, they have all the standard drinks and a pool table. But the best part is the music. Instruments are everywhere. I ended up playing on stage with Sam and someone else in the crowd and I haven't had so much fun in a long time. A lot of what makes this town and country great, I feel, random and awesome interactions.
They also have cool decorations. I highly recommend this place.

My partner and I had a really good experience here, the lady behind the bar was really lovely and made sure we were comfortable with a drink always in hand (not in a pushy way!) With complimentary peanuts. We played plenty of pool with no reservations from the staff and the vibe here was nice with patrons and the owner jamming together.

Nice bar with free pool billiards and everyday live music. Jam with Sam. Sam, the owner wants you to perform with him or alone. Some awesome Jams with people from all around the world happened when I was there. Plus the staff is very nice and lovely. Also the beer is a bit cheeper than up the street. I've been there every night :)

A great bar, lovely owners. Mamma cat is so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend a visit! Loads of games to play too.
