The Great Residence Hotel

It’s a hotel generally for 1 night stays for people going to and from the airport. For this purpose it was great.
Easy check-in process, the shuttle service was on time, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, food in the restaurant was good & arrived fast, pool is nice, room was clean.
For the price and the customer service it was a great deal.

The check-in process was easy and the counter staff could speak fluent English. The main drawback of this hotel is the lack of nearby transport (not even Grabwin). Taxi drivers are not willing to drive to this area.

No lift, but the staff helped to carry baggage

I had to find a hotel at 3am, and these staff members were very helpful. They shuttled me to the airport the next day! Also they held my luggage and gave me a towel to swim in the pool the next day after I checked out! Convenient location. Room was fine for the price.

A very good hotel very close to the airport so that you can serenely do the checking before leaving.
They have a shuttle service for dropping you off to the airport.

I've been there 3 times and I'm always very satisfied.

So I consider it as one of the most relevant.

Nice hotel, bed was very hard but a good size, room was well presented and very quiet. The pool was small but deep in places. Didn't eat there so cant comment on food. I would stay again.

My wife and I stayed here just one night because of an early start the next day. It is a modern, clean and efficiently run hotel, with an attached restaurant/coffee shop, and with great restaurants/street food within a 10 minute walk. The room was very well appointed, and comfortable and we took the free shuttle bus to the airport the next morning; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was good. To explain single-trip transportation (100 baht for additional trip), lobby staff was kind, driver was acceptable, room was good at this price, foods in hotel can be ordered, nearly 100+ baht per menu.
However, it is 5-minute walk to shops nearby and 10-min to street market and 7-11, abit dark for the way to go.
Family can stay, but some rooms are higher floors without elevator.

Aside from the mattress being a little stiff, I loved this place. (Although I loved it for what I needed it for, which was a resting space for a 15 hour layover.) It's not really in a touristy area at all and I even walked to restaurants and they didn't have any English on their menus it was only in Thai. I liked this, being more out of the tourist areas, as it seemed more authentic, but I don't speak Thai so I didn't eat at those places lol. I decided to go back to the hotel to eat and honestly, amazing food. I had a sundried beef fried rice, and it might have been the best friend rice I had ever had in my life. We also had crab fried rice, because I love crab, which was very good but I favored the beef, and we had pork neck. The bartenders were so sweet and helpful. All of the staff was incredible. They carried my bags up and down the stairs. They called us when our shuttle arrived at 3am to make sure that we wouldn't miss the shuttle back to the airport. I accidentally left my passport in the hotel room and the guy ran it to me so that I wouldn't forget it. Overall, amazing service, excellent prices, superb food, great drinks, affordable all around, clean, very very nice. I didn't go in the pool but I did see a lot of people using it.
Don't forget your bugspray also! Anywhere in Thailand the mosquitos are pretty bad so if you want to enjoy the great outside bar or pool area, just get some bugspray!

Location to the airport was great, it was a short 10 minute shuttle from Suvarnabhumi to Great Residence. Our room was not fancy but clean and exactly what we needed. This was a perfect choice for our first night on Bangkok.

Nice place for stay if you have flight from Suvarnabhumi. Helpful and friendly staff. Room is ok, has everything what you can need. Plus they have shuttle to the airport.

Excellent hotel for the price. Very friendly stuff, 24 hours. Transfer from and to airport. Tasty breakfast. A market is near, so plenty of cheap food.

Convenient hotel close to airport for stop over. Happy with the room and who wants a big bathroom? Third time of staying here and I think it is a lovely place to stop over. Good transfer to and from the airport.

Internet speed is ok with 255kB/s. Many sockets in the room, but if you want to do some office work on a table you need to unplug the tv. Mobiles can be recharged next to the bed. The bellboys are getting really obtrusive for the tip.
If you want to eat something outside the hotel, just walk 100-200m into northern direction.
Summed up it is a really nice 3-star hotel.

Great Residence Suvarnabhumi Hotel was perfect for what I needed and close to the airport - good food also in the restaurant.

We got an awesome deal on this hotel. Not sure how much it normally is, so can't say wether it's reasonable. But our room, hallways, outside and the pool were really clean and Wi-Fi worked excellent

Overall OK. It has everithing we needed - a pool (which is conveniently opened till 11PM), a restaurant (not a real gem, but OK) and most important - close proximity and free transport to airport.
Bring mosquito repelent.

This hotel saved us at 3am. They have shuttle bus to the airport for 100thb. Cheaper than grab.

if your looking for a cheap airport hotel, this place is ideal. it is a 5 minute taxi away from the airport. My room was okay, wi-fi signal was weak, I would make sure you get a room near reception.
