Ploen Pirom

We stayed at Ploen Pirom on two occasions when transiting via Bangkok. Accommodation is close to the airport and very convenient if you don't want the hassle of getting in and out of the city. Staff are very friendly, helpful and always on hand to assist when needed. We used the restaurant for breakfast and late night meal and we were very happy with the quality, price and speed at which we were served. Rooms are spacious and, most importantly, very clean. Overall, really happy with our stay here and would 100% return when next in Bangkok

Can’t rate this place highly enough. Got in near midnight after a delayed flight, the staff were gentle and courteous and check in was simple. Super close to the airport, only a 10 minute Grab away. The rooms are clean, spacious, look great and the balconies have a lovely outlook onto the water. They are also very dark and quiet for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was simple and satisfying, service was quick and friendly. Thank you Ploen Pirom for making my introduction to Thailand such a lovely one! 🙏🏻

This is a fantastic hotel and staff genuinely care for their customers. I enjoyed spending a night here and the chicken dish was the best Thai meal I have ever had. Sugar the waitress was very helpful and caring Highly recommend it

It's highly recommended for those with an early flight the next day. The location is just a 10-minute drive to BKK airport. A very charming and relaxing place to stay.

After looking for a place to stay convenient the the airport to accommodate an early morning flight, I came across Ploen Pirom and I am so glad I did. The hotel is quite and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We booked with breakfast included and the breakfasts were very tasty and filling.

The grounds are very nice with many beautiful flowers and bushes all around. The view from the balcony early in the morning was so nice looking out across the lake.

Ploen Pirom will definitely be a stop on our next trip to Bangkok.

This is a peaceful and beautiful place to stay near the airport. Very quiet. The food is delicious, the owner and the people who work there are all very sweet and helpful. 😊

Stayed in the private deluxe villa. Very quiet, clean, spacious and relaxing. Bathroom and shower also excellent. AC had the room at a comfortable 18C the whole time. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Restaurant food is fresh and tasty. Conveniently close to the airport. Wish we could stay longer, but will certainly be booking here again when we come back. Recommend to all

Surprising spot, Beautiful grounds with gardens and seating by ponds with fish to feed. Great atmosphere, clean rooms, great staff, good food at restaurant close to airport.

Expect tasteful simplicity at this out of the way oasis.
We fell in love with this quiet little hotel. Set next to a small lake you sit and contemplate nature at the intimate dining area. A great place to read and do nothing. At night the place fills up with well to do Thai people as the food is delicious home style meals.
The staff is charming and attentive.
The rooms are simple and chic. The photos don’t do it Justice.

Wow what a great clean little spot just 5-10 min from the airport, the staff are absolutely amazing, so helpful.

This is probably the best spot u gonna get that’s this cheap and this close to the airport

The restaurant also at night is very good value for money. Most dishes are about 150-200 baht.

I really like the bungalow style of the rooms and grounds. You really can’t beat the location if you are flying in or out. The staff was super welcoming. Enjoyed both of our stays.

Update: We came back to end our trip here and it was just as lovely as the first time. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. ❤

We began our Asia expedition here in Bangkok and thought that the tranquil environment at Ploen Pirom for the first few days would help ease us into the excitement of the city. We were correct. The initial two days were spent recovering from jet lag. The bright and spacious rooms allowed for a comfortable recuperation. While the hospitality of the staff and home cooked meals made the experience even more wonderful. Ty, the concierge, was quite welcoming and spoke perfect English. The only drawback is that the hotel is located outside the city center (we knew this coming in), thus expect to take cabs in and out of the city. Though quite inexpensive, the timeframe to travel is approximately 40 minutes on good days, without traffic. Certainly recommended for those landing in Bangkok for a day or two, and those departing out of Bangkok.

I love the place..due to its proximity to airport, warm and cosy reception/ bar/ coffee place..the rooms are huge and overlook the river. I really like the lady who runs the place, always smiling and great at heart. Give this place a chance if you have an early morning flight..and then eventually this place will grow upon you..and when you had enough of BKK busy city life..you may want to come here to experience a countryside living in BKK.

Very nice stay only 1 night, rooms were clean and beds good quality ….. food at the restaurant delicious and in a quiet area

I have only just arrived and am already calm. I sat in the restaurant 2 hours before I went to my room, it was very peaceful. Cool breeze off the water, birds dancing in the reeds, big fish swimming, and great food for every dietary requirement. I finally got to my room. Now, we have stayed in well over 100 hotels all over Thailand. This is the place in Lat Krabang. The host is super courteous and speaks beautiful english. Trust me, 5 🌟 is not enough. A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. A great place to rest or relax. The grounds look like a garden next to a pond. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant delivers fresh and delicious Thai food. The staff are all excellent.

What a way to end a trip... Only a few minutes from the airport, unbelievably quiet. Had a relaxing afternoon on our balcony & lovely dinner. The staff went way beyond, easy transfer early in the morning to catch our flight. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is excellent at very reasonable prices.
If you have on overnight before your next flight, I would highly recommend this place.

Great place with helpful staff, fully english speaking,accepting credit card, delicious authentic food at the restaurant. Nice nature spot before the flight, 747 cafe and Chocolate ville just a Gran taxi away.
Comfy cleaned and aircon cooled rooms. Drop off to airport,just no pick up.

After a long flight from Europe I felt exhausted and needed to rest at a hotel. I found this wonderful oasis barely 10 minutes from airport. You can feel the power of nature restoring and healing you after the discomfort of the airplane. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the room and bed comfortable. It was a pleasure to sit next to the lake and watch the birds and fish.
