Ploykhumthong Boutique Resort

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! I was a bit scared when I read some of the previous reviews but this hotel is actually perfect if you need to stay next to the airport and the price is very competitive.
We arrived late due to a delayed flight, did our check in around 1am and then left the next day early around 5am.
Room is nice, clean, bathroom works perfectly. It was quite (even if you can hear some aircraft..but since you are near the airport it is expected). Reception was perfect and smooth.
It takes around 10min by cab to reach the hotel. You will find a 7-Eleven a few meters away.
I recommend 100%

After booking some where for the wrong date and no rooms available we found this place.
Absolutely loved it. So close to the airport, rooms were super comfortable and the food was delicious especially the crispy pork and tofu 😋

This hotel was perfect for my first night in Bangkok. My flight arrived at 1am so I needed somewhere close to the airport for the first night. The room was clean and cooly air conditioned. The staff were lovely and really helpful, they even help me set up my Thai SIM card the next morning!

We needed a place close to the airport while we waited for our Vietnam visas to come through. This place was ideal for us. Mark, an aussie guy who works there couldn't have been any more helpful. That was really appreciated!

Perfect hotel for our needs! Stayed here with my dog while we prepare for our flight aboard. It’s so close to the airport and the animal quarantine office. The room was spacious and surrounded by greenery. The street is safe for walking my dog, quiet street with no aggressive street dogs. The restaurant is so breezy and relaxing. The pool is so nice!

All the staff are so friendly!

Highly recommended for any dog owners who need a place to stay to finish necessary paper work before the flight. Added bonus if the sounds of planes flying over to help desensitise your dog to the noise before their flight.

Hidden gem of a hotel 10 min taxi ride from the Airport. The Hotel is rightly described as boutique, it is a garden setting in fields on the edge of the Airport but still very quiet. The standard room I stayed in was small, comfortable and very reasonably priced. The bungalow rooms look excellent and would be my choice next time. Other features include a pool, air conditioned restaurant and a dining pavilion where the delicious breakfast was served. The only negative comment was the very steep stairs to the first floor standard rooms.

Pet friendly, well priced basic hotel. The staff were very helpful. If travelling with pets they provide some necessities for a fee. The pool is great and is under the flight path into BKK so you can watch the planes coming in from the pool. We’d stay here again for a transit. Water pressure wasn’t great but not a deal breaker. Comfy bed.

Beautiful hotel 10 minutes from airport by taxi. Quiet with lots of greenery and a pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean. Restaurant on property with great food and atmosphere. It's the type of place I would plan to visit just by itself for a relaxing stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff provided exceptional service and were very attentive to our needs. The pool was available and well maintained. I heartily recommend this property if you are in the Bangkok area.

Very lush and quiet hotel close to the airport. The resort has a lot of trees and green and a very nice pool as well as a restaurant. Perfect if you want to stay around the airport

We recently stayed at this hotel as a family. The location is fantastic, close from airport and nearby to shops. The grounds are kept very well with lovely gardens. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Option of traditional Thai or western food was great and tasty! Would definitely return and recommend to other travellers.

I stayed in this hotel with my mom and my dog. It’s a pet friendly place. For this price I paid, I would give them five stars. In my opinion the room so comfortable. Love the way that people who work their really cares about their customers. I had a big problems when I was moving my dog to Thailand.
It was a long story and too dramatic. I just wanna Wright a true review to thanks the guy who picked up my dog with me. So that a van from the hotel not only pick up customers it’s really help me been through some big problems when I wanted my dog that came with me from overseas at night time we arrived from Qantas airplane.

Very cute place. Airport shuttle was easy to find, quick, and convenient. The room itself was small, but very comfortable for a stay close to the airport. Staff speaks English well. We had a great stay and will stay again on our way back home.

The ambience is calming. Not far from the airport. The attendants and owners are so hospitable. Palatable dish in the simple resto. I love my stay there. Wanna go back.

The service ( and well spoken english from the whole staff ) at this hotel has been Outstanding !! Booked because it was pet friendly and close to the airport. Manager was very nice on check-in. Room wqs Clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was western style, and fridge and tea kettle in the room. I booked the upgraded room, stand alone cabana-style room so very quiet. Manager booked our airport shuttle for 2nd night at midnight, she said no problem, our man come to the room and get bags, drop you at the right door at Suvarnabhumi. Customs refused my dog boarding due to lack of an Export Permit.. Called the hotel, Jaa answered the phone and said he would come right and get me, at 130am .. They put me back in the same room and the manager came to see me the next morning.Manager told me she would help me get export permit taken care of and make an appointment for me at local hospital for new covid test. She also took me to a local pharmacy for probiotics, and has been the kindest, most helpful hotel operator I have ever dealt with. I HIGHLY recomend this beautiful, pet friendly spot. Great food at the restaurant as well, and they will customize any dish to diet restrictions. I cant say enough grewt things about this family owned and operated hotel. I will gladly stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok !!!

My husband and I recently stayed at Ploykhumthong Boutique and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from the time we were picked up from the airport. The resort is very traditional Thai style and mainly bungalows, so we had our privacy. Plus the gardens and greenery made it a very relaxed, beautiful, zen setting. It has a beautiful outdoor restaurant with a gentle breeze always blowing, and delicious Thai and western menu. The pool was clean and inviting, we swam daily. It is only between 10-15 minutes from Bangkok so easy to go shopping or enjoy the nightlife. Would definitely stay there again.

Top shelf for the price. If you have spent time in similar priced guest house across Thailand you will find this resort a luxury. Large property, beautiful landscape, nice staff. Small room, but AC works good, very clean, has toilet paper and complimentary water/coffee. Only downside it's 150m from the main road but staff rides out on a scooter to get taxi for you even at 3am.

Very Helpfull location ESPECIALLY if you travel with your pet! I booked a bungalow deluxe because i was travelling with my adopted dog and the Staff is been extremely kind and professional helping with general info , booking taxi etc..great food choices from the kitchen also!! Highly recomended!
