Tree Tara Resort

Took a short stay here and we really enjoyed ourselves as the people here were very friendly and helped us despite the language barrier. There are some spots nearby for visiting as well like the death Railway and the Sai Yok Waterfall. But keep in mind it's best to have a car as some of the places are slightly further out. The breakfast here is really good and nearby there are local food that you can buy for a good price and also a 711 to buy your amenities. And if you do come here, make sure to buy some dog food for the 3 dogs in the resort as they are so sweet and were great companions during our stay. Highly recommended to those who want to take the slow life and get away from the big city

Great pool overlooking the river, clean and air conditioned rooms, friendly staff, amazing value. We stayed for three nights and whilst eating breakfast every day the elephants appeared on the other side of the river which our kids loved

It was very nice staying here. Its not easy to get to Tree Tara Resort, but when you are there its soo worth it!

The staff is super friendly.
The Bungalow is clean with a huge and comfortable bed. There is a restaurant with good Breakfast (free), Lunch and Dinner where you can see Elephants from the sanctury bathing.
The pool is right next to the river!
Its in the middle of nature and so peaceful and quite. We would love to come here again.

Beautiful rooms with an amazing view of the river. However, not all the lights were working in the rooms and only two bottles of water were provided. In the morning you could be able to watch elephants play while eating breakfast. The breakfast and the options could be improved though, I thought they were just okay.

Good service employee. Room price is middle. and good location and atmospherephere. Delicious food. Natural. And near a elephant haven farm

Absolutely loved evrything about this place. Next time Ill make sure to bring drinks for the mini fridge in the room and book a car to eat dinner in town. The resturant is only open for breakfast.

Nice service, nice place and nice atmosphere.
For the people who want to escape for town and want to just stay at the hotel, here is the place for you.
They also have their own restaurant which you can enjoy dinner. Good taste and reasonable price.

Opposite a elephant camp, great entertainment when they go swimming in the morning. Book the villa or river view rooms.

Gorgeous hotel by the river with swimming pool overlooking the River Kwai. Very friendly and kind staff, accommodating us for breakfast when little or a lot of guests onsite. Lots of animals around too, we counted 5 dogs, 8 puppies, a few cats and kittens plus 3 peacocks! Would definitely come back as such a beautiful resort in nature, 15 minutes away from a climbing crag called Turtles Home. Thank you for having us!

Very nice resort in the banks of River Kwai… villas B n A have spacious rooms n bath… scenic view from sit out balcony… villas are prices between 2100-2500THB better to book using their website as the rates lower than other travel apps.. breakfast included due to low occupancy food was served in our villas not in restaurant area…worth to spend a night or two in this resort if you are in Saiyok or Kanchaburi..also villas are located river bank and there is elephant camp in other side of the bank so you will get to elephants playing in water during breakfast time between 7am to 9am..

My favourite resort in kanjanaburi. But please increase the water pressure in the showers

The host very nice, he knows basic English.
Tham-Krasae staition to Tham-Krasae Bridge is the Beautiful view point.
Cannot buy ticket at Tham Krasae station.

Host send us to WangPho Station buy train tickets for us at 3.30pm. The train come around 4pm.

He guide us to stop at the checkpoint (next stop after passby Tham-Krasae station) .
So we can just walk a short distance on the railway from Tham-Krasae bridge to Tham-Krasae station. (The next train will be 2 hrs later, so its safe to walk on railway) .

He then arrange his staff to pick up us at Tham-Kraise station back to resort.

The Villa 2 room is very nice, clean and beautiful . We can hear the birds singing & elephants hoaring sounds in the morning 7.30am.

The best one that I know on this area, if you are lucky you will see the elephants walking near the Kwai River , when you are in the swimming pool .

Nice resort and nice staff. Slightly overpriced but that's the area for you. Breakfast items need to be kept hot!! Very nice staff!!

Ubud feeling…. Definitely coming back again and again. Big comfy bed, nice hanging restaurant by the river❤

My family and I had a great stay. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The food was great. Would definitely go back
