Tunk-ka Cafe

We were around the old town and decided to drop by here for a dessert after our dinner. We just ordered for drink and dessert for a short chit chat as well as atmosphere here.

It it okay to pay a visit here but I think best time is during sunset. The service here not as favourable one (shown on service personnel face during my ordering) if you not having dinner here 😂

This will be my first and last visit here.

I wont stop raving about this restaurant. We didn’t book, if u do u could get a seat on edge of restaurant, as its situated up a viewpoint the views are breathtaking.

This food really was so incredibly good, it’s the best thai food we had in thailand. If ur in Phuket, dont miss this.

Beautiful cafe/restaurant nestled in the jungle of Rang Hill. We arrived early to watch the monkeys feeding and then headed over to Tunk-ka Cafe for a light lunch. With sweeping views of Phuket Town, Chalong Bay and the Panwa Peninsula a visit to Tunk-ka is an experience not to be missed. We enjoyed a lunch of Tom Yum Goong and a spicy seafood salad, both excellent. Prices are very reasonable considering the environment. The staff are attentive, but not overbearing and speak reasonably good English. We plan to return at a later date for sunset dinner. Ten out of ten from us!

The Coconut Ice Cream here is AMAZING! The staff are nice. The view is epic. And all the food looked fairly priced

Brilliant place with amazing views.

Food was very well priced and tasty, so not sure what the other reviewers had eaten. I had the spicy pork salad - it's was VERY spicy so be warned! My partner had stir fried squid which he also enjoyed.

It is definitely worth stopping off here for some food and to take in the spectacular views.

Lovely Cafè/Restaurant with an amazing view. I always combine it with watching the monkeys before entering the Cafè.
The food is good, fells like a lot of locals go there too. So not just a touristy place. I recommend to go there before 6pm, enjoy a bit longer the view by sunlight and getting the food before the crowd arrives at 6pm.

Finally, came back after 6years. Made reservation to ensure we won't be disappointed like last year, where we arrived and were told that the whole place was booked for a private function.
Got a great table on the outdoor terrace with great views over Phuket Town and beyond.
In my humble opinion, the food is great as it suits our taste. Great food and awesome views.

Great restaurant with amazing views.

Restaurant serves great food and has great view of the Phuket city. Drive up the hill is beautiful too and it also has walkway outside the restaurant.
We got the green curry, a regional shrimp dish and fried rice. Curry and shrimp was great.
For drinks, coffee with ice cream was delicious.
Staff was nice and friendly.

100/100 always for this place, the atmosphere and the vibe. If you haven't yet discovered this in Phuket you are definitely missing out on an awesome property.

Location was great, overlooking Phuket. Great food and service. It was value for money.

Gorgeous views and delicious food! We were only disappointed that they didn't have any crab available when we went! Had some shrimp dishes and a mango rice pudding dessert instead. All spicy and bursting with flavour.

Phuket Old Town has a lot of quirky unique authentic spots to hang out in but this spot is certainly on the top of the list. Beautiful view and atmosphere with delicious high quality foods. I ordered the sea grapes salad with raw shrimp (yum! ingredient rare to see), deep fried squid and fried Hokken noodle. The service is top notch as well - a heavy rain was barging towards our way and the staff warned me and quickly moved me and the dishes to a cover place couple second right before the rain hit (which saved my laptop getting wet). Will definitely come back again

Great view , a great place for a date . The food was amazing, we ordered 4 dishes and came out all being delicious. The price was reasonable as well , so I give it a 5 star

Located in very nice location near to old phuket town. Food is very tasty and delicious. Price is little on higher side. Phuket town panoramic view from there is awesome. Car parking is available. Recommend.

I believe this is one of my top list of Thai restaurant in phuket, but a bit pricy. All the foods we ordered taste great and we love it much. The environment feel cozy and have a great view. Definitely can come again try another foods here.
