This restaurant has its own charm. Went here for a light meal and was satisfied with what I ordered. They have that Thai home cooked meal feel. There is this one dessert that stood out for me, the coconut sago. Sooo good!

A truly charming dining experience with affordable ($15-30/person) options depending on what you order! We enjoyed the shrimp chip complimentary starter and LOVED the Phuket style papaya salad with shrimp paste. A must try as it comes with betel nut leaves and beans to wrap the papaya salad with. So flavorful!

The coconut creme soup with veggies was so refreshing and had fresh shrimp in it.

We enjoyed the Southern Thai yellow fish curry - tangy, sweetened with pineapple yet spicy too! So delicious with steamed rice.

The braised pork belly was seasoned perfectly and very tender! An authentic Chinese style dish here but would recommend ordering other Thai options if you have more access to Chinese foods (like myself)!

Overall a good dining experience with an aesthetic dining space with many antiques and historical furniture items and decor. Our server was not as familiar with describing the menu to us in English so we had harder time with ordering.

Delicious food. Lives up to the hype.
Don’t sleep on the fish dishes! The sour pineapple tamarind fish soup was comforting and filling, just like my SE Asian mom makes. The fried fish with lemongrass and tamarind sauce was delectable, even better than what my mom makes! The star of the show for us, though, was that braised pork. Absolute heaven. Would come back to Phuket just for that.

I rolled my eyes at the Michelin Guide mention of this place – figured it was just another overhyped spot. Drove 45 minutes from Patong Beach expecting the usual 'meh' affair. But, damn, was I wrong.

The dishes here? They’re not dressed to impress – they’re simple, unpretentious, like something your grandma would whip up if she was a flavor wizard. Each bite was a blast of authenticity, hitting the taste buds just right. And don’t get me started on the dessert – it’s divine.

The decor? It’s like stepping back in time, a perfect match for the food. Talk about a full sensory throwback.

Blown away with the food especially crab sausages and grandma’s fish soup. And their Thai Sabai was the highlight of my day even though I’m not a cocktail fan. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and highly recommended this place.

Lovely, old fashioned place, we found via guide michelin.

Everything we tried (1 stir fry, 1 curry, 2 starters) was very authentic and absolutely an experience. Kind and, importantly, not overwhelming staff, reasonable prices.

The only minidownside: The house wine choice is not worthy of the food served.

Such a good restaurant! We asked the staff for some help picking out our dishes and they did not disappoint! We got the salted pork belly and crab curry - both dishes were delicious. I also really enjoyed their decor and dish-ware too, lots of old family wedding photos and ornate china. It felt like we were dining in a cool antique shop. Highly recommend this restaurant to other hungry travelers!

Worth the trip — the food was simple and amazing — everything we ordered (8 dishes) was simply outstandingly tasty. Reminiscent of home cooking but refined and done so well. The desserts are a must try too.

Such a nice place! Feels like you’re at a time travel trip in the past 🤍. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We had fried fish with soy sauce, a yummy salad that you could eat as a wrap with a leafy green 💚 and a curry. All three were so good and yummy!

Tom yum soup were good and mouth watering. Pineapple fried rice is quite refreshing with inside ingredients and pineapples on the top are juicy, sweet and a little sour. All food and drinks are really fill my happy tummy. Their Phuket Pineapples Shake is a drinks that must ordered if you visit here.

We had the pleasure of trying Thai Peranakan cuisine, and it was truly excellent and authentic. The prices were reasonable, making it a worthwhile experience that deserves multiple visits.

Tom-yum soup balances the spiciness and saltishness well.

Michelin-rated Bib Gourmand restaurant for 5 consecutive years from 2019 to 2023.

Offer Peranakan-style as well as traditiona Thai dishes.

Heritage inter-terrace with old furnitures and settings.

Food is really yummy tasty especially the deep fried fish. Enjoyed most dishes except the tamarind prawns. Too sweet for my liking.

Old Town Phuket food with traditional Peranakan x Thai-Chinese cuisine in a lovely atmosphere - some very interesting dishes you can't find in Bangkok. The menu is very interesting but has heart and filled with family recipes that goes back 3 generations like Grandma's broth, which was delicious. Takes you back to the time the Chinese arrived in Thailand. Huge portions, delicious food and 5 star service with super knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. No surprise it has appeared on the Michelin Guide 4 years in a row but seems to be less crowded and overbooked than some other Michelin Guide places.

Incredible experience. Delicious food! Order a bunch of dishes and share with friends: try the savory pork, pad kapow, and yellow curry!

A cosy little gem that deserves all of its accolades. The setting is warm and inviting, as are the lovely smiling staff who served us at lunch-time.

Traditional Peranakan food in generous portions. It was too easy to over-order as the menu is packed with enticing dishes. Six dishes and no regrets - the fish especially was heaven! We left well-fed and extremely satisfied.

They were understandably very busy during lunch time, so we luckily were immediately seated. However, I’d recommend booking ahead as they have limited seating.

Nice food with nostalgic charm. Peaceful ambience to enjoy food unlike other overcrowded tourist traps. The moo gong (braised five spices pork) is to die for.

Do yourself a favour and go to this restaurant. Absolutely 100% authentic but unique Thai cuisine. Every element was handled delicately...the right amount of spice, thickness of the sauces, freshness of the vegetables etc etc etc. I could go on. This HAS to be on your go-to list when coming to Phuket
