The old town Phuket is a great place to visit, shop, and eat some good food. There are many old beautiful and colorful building. Each with its own charm and history. Everyone is friendly and sweet. We really like the rose cafe. The entire building is filled by beautiful pink and white rose decors. Even the inside of filled by artificial flowers decors.

Definitely an amazing experience strolling along the old town and enjoy overwhelming variety of food here. The price is very reasonable - not just for tourists but the locals shop here as well. Another nice thing about this night market is that there are a bunch of art, craft and music activities as well. The shops around the night market including the souvenir shops and dessert restaurants are great too. Book your Sunday evening here.

Don’t miss out on Sunday evening! The info said it’s closed at midnight, but I think the market already started to die down at 9:30pm.

What they have:
- Many organized busking and a school talent shows.
- Plenty of food. It’s not cheap for locals, but coming from Bangkok the price here is way more affordable.
- Crafts, caricature, speed drawing, kitchenwares, clothes, bags, etc.
- Hair weaving
- Police at every car intersection to manage traffic
- bunch of people! The local said that the way we went have lower than usual traffic because there were many events going on that day.

Super crowded during the Sunday night market. Long rows of stalls selling snacks. It’s a good chance to try a lot of Thai snacks! You’ll be full just from the walk down the streets.

There were several artists performing along the streets as well! Just take note it could get really crowded and packed!

What a fantastic night market this is! Bustling with crowd, buzzing with the heat and the smells and sounds of sizzling foods. Do yourself a favor- plan your itinerary in such way that you're in Phuket Old Town on Sunday night!

A lovely experience. The warm sunday evenings in Thailand make it so relaxed to enjoy a market.
There are uncountable different food options. There is music. You can play chess. You'll find souvernirs.
Yes, it will be crowded. Nevertheless, you can enjoy the time. Doesnt matter if you go there alone or with a group or family.

Great bit of fun if you have a few hours spare great street food. Obviously, around 6 pm to 8 pm are peak times, and the street gets ceptionally busy. Always be mindful of pick pockets.

Upon being seated was given endamame which is a nice touch. Nice to have cold asahi on tap to just chill as you wait for your order and nibble away on the beans. The tempura portion is massive. It is the biggest I have ever seen in all the many many Japanese restaurants I have been to. Verdict on the tempura (that's all I ordered) is nice light batter with a nice crunch. Sauce is on the heavier side. I'm really liking this place. A place I would not only come back to but bring my family as a tourist to Thailand.

A wonderful experience! On Sundays: Plenty of stalls and shops with a variety of products and yummy food. Lovely bright colours and happy faces everywhere. The highlight for us was the young boy and his dad (or grandfather?) singing and playing the guitar so passionately!

I wish my stomach was large so I can eat everything. Very crowded with foreigners, but it added to the ambience. All the sellers were nice, polite and wasn't pushy for you to buy. Surprising not much trash on the gound from tourists. We went on this long street, but think there are several streets having street food and shops, wished we could have stayed longer.

Lard Yai Market opens every Sunday from 4 pm to late. You’ll find food, ice creams, and drinks on each side and in the middle of this busy street. The amount of goods on sale is staggering, enjoy some of the street performances, music or dancing and don't forget to give a little something they might mean a lot to the young artists.

Every food you want are here. Pay with QR Code for easier transaction. Foods are relatively cheap, souvenirs are also pretty cheap. Try find the goods you see in-store at the stall because same goods can be cheaper. Make sure to prepare umbrella or raincoat if you visit on rainy season. At 10PM sharp, the electricity will be turned off even when you still shopping at the stall 😂

Only open on Sundays - definitely worth a visit, lots of interesting stalls selling food and other bits. The cafes along the side are a bit more expensive, but the food in the stalls is cheap ☺

The Thai prawn crackers, gyozas and steamed pork buns were our favourite!

This is a Sunday-only walking street Market (starts in the evening and goes into the night). There are souvenir goods; local and non-local food stuffs; broken up by entertainment (performars) and arts & craft workshops to break up the zones. We visited in the early evenings when the stalls started to set up and walked up and down the street, gathering a bunch of local street foods along the way. Lots of interesting and good food and a large array of local artists selling own wares, while others are pretty standard night-market wares you'd find in any tourist town night market in Thailand. The evening sun allowed us to appreciate the Old Town architecture and vibes which makes it unique to other walking streets. Definitely worth a visit on an empty stomach if you're around on a Sunday.
