Raja ferry port Donsak

Always it is a nice impression when I reach Donsak coz is already 1 step away from Phangan, Samui and Koh Tao. It means I entered into the Free World, my beloved part of Asia. Especially the White Buddha statue which welcoming or firewalling you in this bay of Raja and Sea Trans ⛴.

We booked a ticket to phangan online and you still need to check in when you reached the ticket booth. Then you can drive ahead and line up to wait on queue when the ferry arrive. The Ferry is here on time. The View is amazing 🤩. You can use the restroom before get on to the Ferry.

There are some eateries for low prices, a restroom and a waiting room. The counter staff said the wrong pier number, twice. But the pier is not huge, so we can reach our ferry.

1 car + 1 person = 550 ฿ Suratthani - Kho Sa-Mui and its take time for 2 hours , Everything is smooth you can drive to the port and buy a ticket from your car .

At first I was quite nervous to use their service after read so many negative reviews. But there's no other option other than using Raja Ferry to transport my car to the islands. Reached the pier 60min earlier (came at 7am) just to secure the slot/ seating. It's 850 baht for a vehicle (plus driver) from Donsak to Koh Phangan and you need to buy the ticket at ticket counter. After that, just drive straight and queue (Phangan queue will be on the right side, while Samui will be on the left). They'll ask cars and pickup trucks to go on board first followed by trucks and trailers. Not sure whether to call it lucky or what, but the ferry took off exactly at 8am. Make sure even you book your ticket online, you still need to check-in 30-60 min before the departure. I

The staff is very good and very friendly getting onto the ferry was quite seamless. The fairies themselves need a little bit of TLC and they're quite dated

Booked out tickets online few days in advance. Arrived at the pier at 10:30am, ATK certificate checked, passport checked, ferry ticket checked, stand by the queue for our 11am ferry, onboard immediately and ferry departed on time!!

They need to put more vending machines so that people don’t have to get long Q.

Get a taxi to the port and hop on. Cheap and convenient. They held the 8am boat for me as I arrived about 8.05 which meant more time on Magic Island so I was happy. Comfy seats in aircon room. Not busy at all.

Use it for koh samui instead of seatran. No queue, same price, nice people.

Cheap, low cost, but efficient ferry operation

5 am ferry got us to the airport at 10 am on the nose. And a lovely sunrise as you leave KP.

Car ferry port, easy to get to, has onsite facilities like coffee shop, toilets and cooked thai food.

Use Raja Ferry for many years already, except for a few minor things I've always been happy with their service.

Nice port. If you're travelling by car, buy ticket in advance on Rajaferry website.

Quick and easy.. ferry ports pretty good for food and cofee aswell

If you don't get a ticket for the other ferry operator, Raja ferry port Donsak will not disappoint you. We haven't had a ticket to koh Samui. All full booked at the other one. But this one let us on the ferry and after 9 hours driving, we where so happy.

Caught the smaller faster boat to Koh Phangan but this slower bigger boat had more space and was less bumpy when we travelled back on choppy water.
