Bamboo rafting Maewang Chiangmai (ร้านโสภาทรัพย์)

An hour plus away from Chiangmai city but definately worth the trip.
So serene and peaceful on the river.
M is an excellent guide. Very responsive with our queries.
We saw elephants along the river too.

Bring a change of clothes. You will get wet. But that's part of the experience.

The lunch at the family's simple restaurant was delicious. Love the tomyam gong! Yum and super spicy!

I drove by motorbike around 50 minutes from chiang mai . The cost was 400 baht for 45 minutes. It was worth there are elephants on the way you can see

Leuke rustige bamboo raft voor 500thb. Je ziet mooie natuur en een paar olifanten onderweg. Doe geen goede broek aan want die wordt vies en nat. Wij zijn met de 'red car' retour gegaan voor 1500 thb. Dat was goedkoper dan met een tour maar alsnog in totaal erg prijzig voor een tochtje van 30min op de bamboo. Als je in de buurt bent is het zeker leuk om te doen.
