Sann Hotel Chiang Rai

Probably the best hotel in Chiang Rai. Super modern, clean, huge rooms, high quality, comfy beds, excellent service, right in the middle of downtown Chiang Rai, 2 minutes to 7/11, Cafe Amazon and a variety of street food and restaurants, swimming pool etc. Plus I only paid around $50 USD a night. Excellent. Can't say anything negative about it and I stay in hotels around the world every other week for work.

We got a corner twin room with a view of the temple across the street, and my mum & I loved it. Since we were on a higher floor, we didn’t hear any noise. Sleep quality was amazing 😊

Beds were comfortable, room was cleaned and amenities replenished daily by Toom, the lovely housekeeping staff. They gave us 2 free 500ml bottled waters every day of our stay as well.

The room also had a mini fridge, blow dryer, and hot water kettle with free instant coffee (Nescafe) and Lipton tea.

The location was also very central as it was a 2 minute walk from the Clock Tower and a 10 minute walk from the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar, Walking Street on Saturday was a 5 minute walk.

Last but not least, their staff was so kind. There was a water pressure problem on our last day and they really made us comfortable by offering a shower room and some snacks until the water came back on. We only waited 1.5 hours and the pressure was back so we didn’t need to use the shower room. Highly appreciated the front desk delivering cookies to our room❤

Last but not least, the breakfast buffet spread was fresh and delicious. Value for money in Chiang Rai✨ I would definitely come back here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Sann Hotel. Great location - less than 5 mins walk to the clock tower and the Saturday walking street. Right opposite of the beautiful Wat Ming Mueng. Too bad we did not get the room overlooking the temple though. Breakfast was not big, but sufficient.

Location is great. Price is reasonable. Good for rest as not crowded, busy, or noisy at night. Swimming pool is clean with giant beautiful tree aside. Breakfast is provided.

Nice rooms, nice location, nice pool (didn't use). Breakfast buffet was not outstanding quality, but it was still good.

Extremely satisfied with our stay at Sann hotel! Service was excellent. Rooms were clean & very comfortable bed. Great location near bus terminal, chiang rai night bazaar - We walked to all these locations instead of taking a taxi. Also enjoyed the buffet breakfast, no complaints.

Simple modern with a bit north culture decoration. Location is on the main road in city and has many food shops nearby. Services and cleanliness is good. Not a lot of breakfast menus but enough. Many available parking lot(more than 30). So worth to stay here.

Excellent experience!! Service and room were spot on. Complimentary breakfast was out of this world. Super nice and helpful staff just puts a smile on your face. I wish I could stay longer. Lol

Good location with value price. Hotel is nice and clean. Staffs have good service mind. This place is actually in the center of this town and we can walk around to the beautiful temple and local restaurant. Water pressure and temperature of this hotel is good. 👍😁

Highly recommended. The hotel is new. It is located in the town near the Chaingrai’s clock tower (walking distance). There are plenty of restaurant nearby and also 7-11.

The room is clean and spacious. Swimming pool also big , clean. Staff are professional trained. They are friendly, helpful and their service mind is very impressive.

I stayed here from 21st to 23rd of May 2022, and i think i was their first Indonesian guest of that month (or even this year). So here's my review:
1. Check in was smooth, receptionist was so friendly.
2. Location is great, in the heart of down town Chiangrai. 1 minute away from the famous Golden Clock Tower.
3. Room was spacious, tidy and clean. Linen was clean and crisp. Bathroom is spacious, and i love the hairdryer. Lol
4. The bell boy speaks a lil bit english.
5. Breakfast was okay, not so many option. The restaurant was well decorated.
Overall it was worth the price. Will definitely come back to stay in this hotel whenever i visit Chiangrai again.

Great hotel with excellent service. Staff goes above and bevond to help. They even helped us book bus tickets. Only downside that I can think of is the price for laundry is quite expensive (like most hotels in SEA, I suppose)

Great location, beautiful decoration, very clean, very friendly and helpful staffs, the breakfast line is fantastic (variety of Thai dishes and desserts where I spent more than an hour with😋). My family was so happy with the place. I will definitely go back next time I visit Chiangrai.

This is my 2nd time here. The hotel is new and very clean. Staff is friendly and very helpful. You can ask for help with everything they can manage thing for you. They have service mind. Breakfast is buffet but choice is limited. The pool is clean and big enough for exercise. Location is great

Saan Hotel is so good I want to give 10 stars. Impeccably clean, modern and classy. I paid just over £40 per night GBP. including breakfast.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Swimming pool was fantastic and deserted most days.
Personally my only minor criticism is the breakfast which is aimed towards Thai people so curry, rice, noodles etc for breakfast is strange and not ideal for Western tastes. More selection of fruits would be better. But, I still enjoyed the breakfast.
