Wangcome Hotel

Very big room with two bathrooms, close to many restaurant, bars, massage saloon, night market and motorbike rental

Close to main strip, nice rooms, clean, happy customers. No bacon with breakfast was disappointing.

This is a 3 star hotel so don't expect anything too much but it's gets five stars from me for a number of reasons. Primarily, it is good value for money. Yes, the room furnishing is dated, but I noticed that the flooring (Laminate) all seems to be new. It is also kept very clean. The room has a good size fridge, and aircon is fine. In terms of room facilities, the only thing lacking for me was a Safe.
It's in an area surrounded by massage shops and bars. I was disturbed by the noise from the street at night, but as soon as I mentioned to management they allowed me to move. My advice if you want a quiet room away from street noise is ask for an inward facing room viz facing into the courtyard/swimming pool area and avoid the rooms on the north side of the hotel.
I think they could have done more with the swimming pool, it's more like a large tub. So much of the courtyard area is just wasted/unused. The Wifi speed is a bit variable and can be slow at times, particularly for uploading.
Anyway, despite these points, it gets five star for me as good value, clean and comfortable rooms, and now quiet since moving rooms.

Nice hotel with a beautiful and large rooms in the center of Chiang Rai. This hotel is bear the bight marker, the restaurants and the bars for get an enjoy night life. The staff is polite and professional. Have a swimming pool and buffet breakfast. I recommend

Right in the city center, walk to all kinds of shops and street food. Price is reasonable. Rooms is clean. Staff speaks english. Cant go wrong with this one.

The location is very very good.The stuff is kind. The manager is profressional. The breakfast is amazing. I find if you directly pay the fee on site , you will get the better price than through internet broker e.g. agoda, booking... wonderful hotel !

Good experience in the heart of Chiang Rai, location, location, location. Everything you need is within walking distance (food, treats, bikes, nightly entertainment).

We had a very good stay. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The aircon kept us nice and cool.

Old Hotel but housekeeping does an awesome job. Well maintained and for the price you pay this is an amazing place. Best part is its location. Centrally located.

The price and location are perfect. Only downside is that smoking must be done outside the building.

It is a good hotel centrally located and good for all sorts of travellers.
