Nak Nakara Hotel

We had a great stay! Very clean! Breakfast was perfect, the pool is VERY cold but I think that’d be my only complaint. Shower was clean and good water pressure. Complimentary fruit and water was wonderful! Walking distance to nearby markets!

We stayed here with our family of 7 in 3 rooms for 5’days. The hotel is located close to all the shopping streets. The hotel staff are super friendly and caring. The breakfast was great, pool side service was also great. I highly recommend this hotel.

24/7. All mini bar items in the room are free. Spacious room with
large comfy bed. Nicely decorated room and clean. Pool open from
morning until 10pm and free bikes available on site

This is a fantastic boutique hotel. Lovely accommodation, great pool area, staff lovely and delicious food.
Breakfast there was a variety incl eggs but I couldn’t go past the Thai food. Drinks and food by the pool great value too.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The service was incredible, warm, and welcoming. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The room came with some free minibar items which was a pleasant surprise, and they offer free fruit, water, and light snacks in the lobby all day. I was so happy to have stayed here and so sad to not have stayed longer. Walkable to the clock tower, night Bazaar, and many other great parts of Chiang Rai. I highly recommend staying here if you are in town.

We loved our stay at Nak Nakara hotel. The staff is great, always with a smile on their faces and willing to help. Plus, the exterior, pool area and rooms are so beautiful, and the breakfast is really good too. Totally recommend!

Very nice property, a short walk from downtown. Spaceous, quiet rooms, spotless clean. Nice pool, very clean. Amazing breakfast!

Excellent hotel, very close to the Night Market which is open only Saturday. 10-15 mins walk to the night bazar and pub street.
Rooms are a bit dated and there were quite a lot of ants in our room, but the bed, shower and aircon was good.
Staff is number one, very service minded, smiling and friendly.

Perfect and calm location. Room was spacious and clean. WiFi a little bit slow in the evenings. Many options at the breakfast buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially at check-in/out and during breakfast. Absolutely recommend if you visit Chiang Rai :)

Stayed at Nak Nakara Hotel only for 1 night, it exceeded my expectation!! Highly recommended. The breakfast is well thought of, combination of local thai cuisine and continental.

The staff in particular are great, helpful and always smiling. They also helped me all throughout when I left my black pouch with my phone and sl.e jewelries. They initially will check the local post on how to get it to me to Bangkok, when i decided to fly back to get it - they arranged a well trusted taxi partnered with the hotel on meeting me at the airport to hand it over to me. That for me is going above and beyond what a normal hotel staff would do and for that i am very grateful.

The hotel is also well located 10mins away from the center by foot and around 20mins from the airport by taxi.

I wish we have more time at Chiang Rai to explore more. Maybe next time again to stay at Nak nakara.

Absolutely fantastic staff and service. We were given a map and information about places to go, what time was best and a list of recommended restaurants of different cuisine.The hotel reataurant serve a beautiful breakfast as well. A special kobh khun krap to Neer, Aou and Time who was lovely and so helpful. We had a fantastic stay here. Highly recommended. Thank you.🙏

A wonderful hotel. The staff are very well trained, happy, polite and courteous. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The pool and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast is plentiful and with great choice. The location is great, just a short walk to the walking street and night markets but still so peaceful inside the grounds and rooms.
I would rate this hotel higher than a 5 if it were possible.

Hotels rooms and territory are in traditional Thai style, swimming pool is gorgeous. Staff is helpful and very professional. Breakfast is quite good, amazing coffee! Location of the hotel is very tranquil and secluded.

Cons
Rooms are not soundproof at all, you can hear everything that’s happening around you especially with some guests being not considering at all yelling early in the morning and stomping late at night. But that is not the hotel’s problem.

Just what I want in a hotel. Small, great service and the feeling of being in another country - not another same same modern glass and concrete resort. Great value for money and very comfortable to stay in. Only negative is the bathtub shower which I personally detest but not as bad as some. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Decor was traditional but clean and updated. Hotel is small in footprint and feels boutique rather than too large.

We were greeted by a very nice clerk when we arrived. Took our luggage to our rooms while we check in. Clerks were very welcoming and professional. Rooms were clean and the pool was nice and spacious. The hotel is located close to night markets and great restaurants.

Staff is friendly, speak fluent English.
Provide water and snack in the room.
Breakfast is very good.

This hotel was charming. It’s comfortable enough - great breakfast buffet with variety of western style offerings but very tasty local dishes too. Did not like the shower - poor setup and barely hot enough. Despite this negative, the staff made up for their great service. There was 5 of us in the group so getting a large vehicle was a little tough during the New Years but they arranged a driver for us for a whole day (about 2,300B) to visit three sites up north. Also help arranged a large comfortable van for us to go to Chiang Mai.
One thing would of been nice if they would serve (optional paid) dinners there too.

I used to stay here with my husband. I would like to say that I am very impressed. The room is clean. The service staff is looking for accommodation, whether the whole family here is both the parties and the partner. Swimming, try to use the service and you will not forget and want to come back to use the service again.

Very impressed by extraordinary polite and helpful crew of the hotel. Whether for help with luggage or quality of reception, cleaning or breakfast team, each and every member was offering their best to help and assist. Breakfast rich and very good. Even complimentary softdrinks and snacks in lobby and room, WIFI good connection. I can recommend Nak Nakara and I would love to come again.

The location is really in middle of the city like 12 mins walk to night bazar and clock tower which have everything you need for food, bar and shopping and 4-5 mins walk to 7/11

The room is basic and have everything you need. Bed wasn't too hard so nothing to complain.

pool is really nice and can spend time there until late night, size is perfect

The best thing here is all staffs are sooooo nice!!! That made our stay is even better. Everytime you walk pass them you gonna see warm smile with simple greeting "Sawadee kha/krap". So worth to stay here and you will enjoy while you stay 😁
