Great temple in Surat Thani city. Laung Phor Phat is the famous resident monk and he is very old. I just missed seeing him. There was another monk doing blessings though.

Temple that is active, monks on grounds. One of the buildings depicts the life of Buddha through different paintings along the upper walls. The paintings are supposedly 155 years old. Similar to the old Catholic style of giving images for those who don't understand the sermon.
