The Bliss Ubon

True value for money. Lovely hotel within vicinity of Ubon cultural and religious sites and immediate adjacency to eateries . Good breakfast mix of Western and Thai food provided. The home made sourdough bread and traditional thai delicacies is not to be missed. Clean and modern decor with amenities provided. The provision of bicycles is an added value. The staff are engaging and will make your stay worthwhile.

The Bliss Ubon Hotel lives up to every letter in its name! I challenge anyone to find a better experience (at least for the money) in Ubon or anywhere else in Thailand.

The rooms are very clean, fresh, bright, and spacious! And the friendly staff provide regular cleaning of the room, floors, and entire hotel surrounding areas, inside and out.

The hotel offers excellent meals in the morning that can even suffice for the whole day: fruit, vegetables, meat and/or egg proteins as well as rice, homemade bread with butter and jams, and desserts! Incredibly, this can all be included in the price of the room! The food is very delicious and the waitstaff is extremely polite, quiet, unobtrusive, and highly professional. The chef is a young, vibrant, and happy leader, creating a comfortable, welcoming, and scrumptious experience every day!

The front staff speak very good English and provide continuous, outstanding help in arranging taxis, guidance on where to go for shopping, tourism, and even fixing a broken zipper on a pair of pants—just down the street for an insanely low 30 baht! (The zipper works super well, looks great, and kept a favorite pair of pants dutifully in service!)

The owners, Francois and Anne, are people of exceptionally kind, beautiful, and caring natures! They were extraordinarily helpful in many ways, and they genuinely reached out to help us on many occasions without even being asked, simply from their magnificent hearts! They are truly incredibly loving people who have created a most fantastic, supportive situation with their hotel.

As a stunning bonus, we were placed in a top floor room on the back side of the hotel, where we witnessed gorgeous sunrises every day, and when we returned to the hotel at the appropriate time, witnessed equally exquisite sunsets in the front of the hotel. The hotel is designed and miraculously located to make the most of viewing these gorgeous natural patterns throughout the day, if you’re fortunate to be around the place at the right times…

The hotel has brilliant access to two roads on opposite sides of the building, making entering and exiting much easier than other places that might otherwise be jammed into a soi (small road) with limited access.

The hotel is an amazing gem, highly recommended, and treasured for the absolutely extraordinary times that we’ve experienced here. Please don’t miss this exceptional find nor the immeasurable benevolence of Ubon Ratchathani!

Fabulous hotel. Been here 4 times. Most comfortable beds and soft duvet in the world. Very friendly staff, excellent free breakfast, both western and Thai selections. Simply a class place at budget prices

We have enjoyed 6 nights at The Bliss Ubon and will recommend this property to anyone visiting Ubon. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff are all friendly and attentive. Breakfast is included and although the range is not huge, the options are fresh and taste good. The hotel is situated in a very quiet residential neighbourhood and is not hard to find using Google maps. There is free on-site parking. We hope to stay at this hotel when we next return to Ubon.

It s a small five starred hotel for me , room is very clean with new satin bed sheet.breakfast is very good with homemade bread and nice coffee. Just have to walk up the stairs to yr room, no elevator.I will absolutely come back next time.

Hotel location is SO QUIET - no noise

Rooms were modern and relaxing.

Everywhere was clean - impressive.

To round it all off, Buffet Breakfast was included in the room rate and was an excellent experience - great Asian choices, very yummy.

All in all an A Class stay and we will book here again next time we find ourselves around the Ubon Ratchathani area.....

Great value for money. Peaceful and beautiful hotel. My room was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfy with a silk linens. I had one of my best sleeps in Thai hotels ever. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is mainly based on Thai menu yet they were so nice and asked if I would like to have anything else to eat.
The hotel located in a very quiet soi, yet easy to reach. 7-11 is 5 minutes walk so is for laundry machines.

On the cons side:
No lift.
The water pressure in the shower wasn't strong enough.
The WiFi was pretty slow.

Yet, I would give them 5 stars for their excellent service.

I like this small hotel. It’s easy to access by car. This hotel is not far from Ubon airport. There are park lots on the front and the backyard of this beautiful hotel. Breakfast is very nice. The dinner room is spacious and clean. Toilet is clean. I slept well at night. The room rate is reasonable.

Great hotel, stylish and well designed The rooms are not super big but they are very well thought out to maximize functionality. Nice sheets on the comfy bed, fridge, good wifi and air-con. Lights and power points everywhere. The breakfast is great with homemade bread, cakes, jam and lots od salad. You also have 10 choices mostly Thai but some Western also. Coffee is ok too. Exceptional value for money. Well located not to far from Central Plaza, lots of cafes and restaurants close by.

Wonderful experience in every way. Can't wait to get back and do it again especially after the Covid lives. I really just wrote the two dinner reviews. But the special with breakfast with homemade bread and jam advertised but great food especially at a fantastic price. And again staff and service 5 star at 3 star pricing. Must go back and add pictures. Huge comfortable bed too.

The bliss hotel isn't far away from Airport. The room is very comfortable and clean rooms, and the bedsheet, the pillowcase, the blanket is very soft as silk and The location is quiet.
If you are hungry or needs to find local street food, you can walk to the main road, you will find a heaven street food (3 mins)
and you can borrow the bicycle for free.
The staff so polite and nice also

This has been my favourite hotel so far on our trip into Isaan. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. We chose a room with two single beds on the 2nd floor. Although the rooms are a bit smaller than some other hotels we found it quite acceptable. King size beds are available on the upper floors, but be aware that there is not a lift. Apparently the rooms upstairs are roomier.
The beds are very comfortable with quality linen. The AC works well and fairly quietly, and most importantly there are coffee making facilities in the room!!
Bathroom was clean and the shower worked well.
A free breakfast is included and has a good variety of Thai choices as well as fried or scrambled eggs if you order them. Also fruit, orange juice, perc coffee and toast.
The staff is very helpful and the owners speak very good English.
The location is fairly central.
All in all I would recommend The Bliss Ubon for weary travellers staying in Ubon.

Although The Bliss is not in the centre of Ubon there is still much to do and many good restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is very modern and decorated to a high standard. Good restaurant and the breakfast was excellent. Airport shuttle service available if required. The only downside is that there is not an elevator in the hotel.

Perfect Thai experience. Choice of homemade items such as bread, amazing. Never seen so many power points in room, great. Am disabled so found stairs challenging. Thoroughly recommend this special place. Thank you for your care and attention.

For 790baht/night, the hotel is clean, well lit, well design with good selection for breakfast. Mattress has a soft protector makes sleeping more comfortable. Shower water pressure is low and that's quite common in Thailand.

A truely blissful place, i will happily return to the bliss hotel.

Very cosy and clean rooms, homemade delicious breakfast, nice and helpfull staff. They organized trip to national park for us. Recommend this place. You can use bicycles for free.
