Boat to see lotus

Nice lotus boat rides available on the less touristy side of the lotus lake. The lotus here are visible from land and can take nice pictures and drone videos. Much better than the other official lotus boat tour on the opp side of the the lake. Here the waterway seems narrower than the other side. Recommend checking out both sides since the boat rental is the same for small boat for 2 pax at 300 baht per small motor boat. We came in jan and were told to arrive 15mins before sunrise so that can capture the sunrise with the lotus. Also not too hot. The boatman says the lotus flowers typically start closing 10am to 11am when the sun is hot.
Lotus is only in season from Dec to Feb I think.

The best and shortest way out on the water for experience the lotus flower, come early in the morning for best view.

Kumpawapi Is awesome! The red lotus lake is so beautiful, the pictures there are just stunning. The boats we're reasonably priced, and the boat drivers answered any questions we had about the lake and surrounding area.

Superbe...dommage que nous soyons arrives trop tard....les fleurs s'étaient refermées...pour info....il fait venir tôt le matin....a partir de 6 h00 jusqu a 11h00 les fleurs sont ouvertes....a midi est déjà trop tard....

На февраль 2020 думаю лучше ехать на этот причал. Есть ощущение что на этой стороне лотусов больше.
