How these ferries and piers pass safety certification is a mystery they must be more than 70% rust. However they are smooth, ready to book and cheap even if a lot of stuff doesn't work.

If only I could give 0 stars. BEWARE: TAXI MAFIA at pier. They try charge 1000 baht to go anywhere and any taxi barters below that, they get told off and fingers pointed to leave. One driver accepted 500 Baht but mafia man with gold chain told him no and we had half our bags in the car already, driver got out and told us he couldn’t do it and drove off. He was open to accept 500 baht for a 30 min drive (comparatively to 480baht for hour from BANGKOK AIRPORT!! To Koh San rd through Grab app Inc. toll charges). *Try sort your ride beforehand of through hotel!!!* Don’t trust Lompraya ferry ladies either.
Also pier. Is rusted everywhere looks like it’s about to fall apart at any moment.
