Salawin River

Beautiful spot to come an watch the river border and its activities. Have a good 4-wheel drive as some parts of the road is unpaved and in small lanes. Bring food if you plan to spend long time, water and other things available.

Very nice place! I drove over here with my motorbike. Cute little town with nice and friendly local people. Beautiful landscape.

Everyone should know about this river system and it's biodiversity. One of the least disturbed watersheds left....

Great to come here with the motorbike and just sit and look at Myanmar :-)

เป็นแม่น้ำที่น้ำเย็นมากๆ สวยงาม น่ากลัวด้วยครับ มีท่าเรือขึ้น ล่อง สาละวินด้วย ล่องไปออกที่บ้านสบเมย แล้วต่อเรือไปออก แม่ตะวอ อำเภอท่าสองยาง วิวสวยมากๆ

สนุกมาก มันส์มาก เดินคือสุดมาก

แม่น้ำสาละวินมันเป็นแม่น้ำที่มีชีวิต หลายเผ่าหลายชาติพันธ์ที่ต่างอาศัยริมสองฝั่งน้ำ แต่เหมือนถูกคำสาปมิอาจบรรจบร่วมกันเป็นหนึ่งสายได้เช่นสายน้ำ และอีกมุมหนึ่งมันคือสายน้ำที่มีจิตวิญญาญ ที่คอยเรียกและดึดดูดผมอยู่ทุกเมื่อเชื่อวัน ให้กลับไปเยือนสายน้ำแห่งธารหิมาลัยที่แสนจะเยือกเย็นแห่งนี้อีกครั้งหนึ่ง

แม่น้ำสาละวิน น้ำเย็น ธรรมชาติสวย ผู้คนมีหลากหลาย ชาติ แต่ช่วงที่ไปน้ำแห้งหน่อย

หน้าฝนการเดินทางควรใช้ความระมัดระวังเนื่องจากเส้นทางมีดินถล่มตลอดทาง

ทางโหด..ชาวบ้านน่ารัก..เอาของติดมือมาแบ่งปันน้องๆกันด้วยนะครับ

Tolle Atmosphäre. Das Dorf ist wieder ziemlich heruntergekommen und wartet wohl, dass der Schmuggel wieder besser läuft. - - - Der Salwin ist hier immer noch etwas wild. Nicht ganz so wie in Tibet, wo wir ihn unter dem Namen Naqchu kennengelernt haben.
