Nong Bon Lake Park

I absolutely adore this pet-friendly public park! It’s a hidden gem with so much to offer. The pristine lake is perfect for kayaking, and my furry friend loves splashing around the shore. The bike lanes are a fantastic addition, making it easy to explore the park on two wheels.

What sets this place apart are the countless birds that call this park home. Birdwatching here is a delight, and my camera roll is now filled with amazing snapshots of these feathered beauties.

Overall, it’s a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and I can’t recommend it enough to fellow pet lovers, nature enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a tranquil retreat. This park truly has it all! 🌳🚣‍♂🐦🐶🌞

Beautiful park having proper walking/running/cycling track. Centrally located huge lake surrounded by greeneries all throughout, makes the ambience peaceful. Cycle rental shop situated at the entrance.

Our first visit here and we loved it! We arrived at about its busiest, so we look forward to visiting again for a workout during less busy mornings. We just had a nice walk. What makes it nice is the shade and break from the sun!

Great place for outdoor activities, walking and even training your dog. Usually crowded on weekends even when you come quite early like 7am so, if you are looking for a more quiet time suggest to come on weekdays between 6.30am - 7.30am.

Plenty of parking space but, not that many places where you can eat though, there is a small cafe and stalls before you enter the park.

Can’t really feel the heat even in this tropic weather as the trees in the park are quite dense and the lake cools down even more. Some dogs swim in there but, I don’t really recommend because of the leeches and other things.

The right side entrance from the car park is where dogs are only allowed. People mostly walk their dogs late afternoon or evening and usually on weekends. Morning dog walks on weekdays are the best quality time to spend there.

Overall a great place to stay active with yourself, your friends & family and most importantly with your four legged friend. Guarantee your dog will have a great time.

PS: some dog owners really do not take the responsibility to clean up after their dog despite the park having so many bins around. Also you can plant your own tree at the park just get in touch with the staff for enquiry and process.

Going to a park during the day in Bangkok is not something I would recommend to a traveler who is not used to hot tropical climate. But this lake park would be my exception. Due to a large lake and abundance of tall trees this helps to reduce the heat and makes the walk a lot more pleasant. I also love that this park is pet friendly.

Nature in the city. A great place for cycling, jogging, walking. Shady and peaceful. A much nicer cycling location than Suvanabhumi, but there are a lot more turns and human obstacles, so not as good if you just want a flat out workout.

This park is great for walking dogs and dog watching! It has a cyclewqlking track which goes to the centre of the lake. Watch out for the iguanas, as they like to wallow in the shallows. We even saw one catching a snake for lunch! Parking is a little confusing and the road is a bit bumpy. Overall, a great place to take a break from the city.

Big park (larger and less crowded than suan luang near by) with many family activities like running, bicycling , day camping , skating and also huge dog park which u can bring your lively dogs to walk around at approx 6 km long , although Some areas in the sport center is not dog allowed with the poor signage. No shop and only 1 rest room area inside the park so please prepare yourself well while entering.

Great park to ride bikes, blades or take pets for a stroll. The park is large and not overly crowded, a real gem that we enjoy visiting regularly.

A wonderful and rare gem in Bangkok when it comes to walk with your dog. It’s such a relief for dog owners and the dog itself walking in this beautiful park. It’s a strange situation that other public parks in Bangkok don’t allow dogs - they should visit Nong Bon and see with their own eyes that it works! Dogs should be allowed in all public parks!!

Together with the next-door King Rama IX Park, this is an oasis of calm, greenery and fresh air for Bangkok. Many people can be seen exercising, walking, jogging and cycling in the early morning. For those afraid of the sun, 80% of the 4km trail is very well-shaded by trees 😉🌲 There is also a well-equipped water sports center here that members can indulge in (annual memberships available at nominal cost). Lots of free parking available here.

Good for jogging and walking in the evening. Pet allowed with free ticket, nice view, fresh air, clean place and good for picnic and taking photo also.

Pet friendly park! So much nature and calmness. Perfect for family and pets!

How to get there: Airport Rail Link (HUA MAK) Station and then take bolt or grab (around 120 baht)
Fees: Entrance is free for the park. If you want to cycle, bicycle are rent at the entrance for around 40 baht for 3 hours.

One year membership to do all watersports is 300 baht for foreigner. (Yes, 300 baht for one year.) You need passport to register at the park, but you will need to book everyday at 10am if you want to attend training. All water sports training (Kayak, Sailing, SUP) starts at 3pm and needs booking for everyday. Do not allow jean pants for water sports.

It is a good lung of Bangkok city for biking, cycling, running, jogging, walking, and sleeping. The management provides boats, canoe, bikes, and many things for residents to borrow. I often go there.

Great place to walk and lots of trees along the trail.

Nice lake park, with short distance and long distance, running and biking, big lake, tall tree along the path, green shading tree, good view both sunrise and sunset, fresh windy environment.
