Disgusting service!!! Thai citizens are served without a queue, I had a queue number, and Thais are served first. I had my own queue number and waited 40 minutes, I did not receive service. Other Thai clients were allowed ahead of me. I had to wait More!!!!

Bad attitude of two bank employees towards potential customers.

I visited the bank branch located in Central shopping center (address 199, Floor 3, Room 309, Wichit, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000) to open a bank account and get a card.

Initially, I was greeted very friendly (Manager Peeranat Aphichartbut, counter 5) until it came to arranging insurance. I informed the staff that I already have insurance, to which he replied that I must buy insurance from the bank anyway (1500 baht). I objected and requested to speak to the immediate supervisor of this manager, but the manager refused to comply, and his smile disappeared.

I then contacted the bank's hotline, and the hotline staff confirmed that I could decline the insurance. Afterward, I waited for another bank employee (Siriwan Pakdee, counter 4) to finish assisting another customer and she invited me. After a brief conversation with the first employee, they decided to ask for additional documents: a yearly lease contract for housing, and ultimately denied my account opening (I didn't have the original yearly lease contract with me).

Meanwhile, just 5 minutes earlier, they opened an account for another foreigner who purchased their insurance WITHOUT the requirement for a yearly lease contract for housing. From this, I conclude that these employees are, firstly, dishonest, and secondly, completely uncustomer-oriented and rude. I recommend their management to address their professionalism.

UPD: if you faced the same problem - just go another bank branch

That's twice I've had to walk out this branch due to unbearably long wait times... One customer takes on average 45 minutes. Terrible. Other branches are way quicker.

They cannot open an account, although I have a passport with an annual visa, a Thai driver's license, an annual residence permit, a certificate of residence, a certificate from the place of study - IT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR THEM!!! just lose customers.
