Companion Animal Hospital

In my opinion probably the worst animal hospital I have ever visited. Made an appointment to visit few days prior to arriving and also confirm the arrival on the day prior to leaving home explaining the Dogs condition and the report from the local vet as it was almost 3 hour drive from home.
Upon arrival reception was totally unmanned and waited around 10 mint before the a member of staff arrived. During the wait to see a vet another dog was brought in almost unconscious who was involved in a collision with a vehicle. Around 10 mint later Vet finally arrived only to glace at the poor creature and told the owner that there is nothing She could do as the X ray machine was out of order and that it would be better take the animal over to another clinic which was over 2 hour drive from the Hospital. The owner and we were both amazed and disgusted by the action and behavior of the vet. After few minutes it was our turn to see the vet. Guess what... same statement again. At that point I asked her to simply examine the dog as the condition did not require an X- ray. Her reply was the same , without an X-ray no point of examining the dog. During the conversation it was reveled that the X-Ray machine has been out of order around a week. Why was this not mentioned when we made an appointment few days ago, or the day ?
