Sananwan Palace (สนานวรรณ พาเลซ)

This place really deserves to be a success.
They greet you when you pull up in your taxi and take your bags to reception.
Checking in is a breeze, with no B500 deposit often demanded by hotels in this price bracket.
They then take your bags to your room.
The deluxe rooms are small, but bright and modern and very well designed.
The bathroom is also small, but also well designed with good water pressure.
There is a small safe in the room for passport and cash.
There is 24 hour room service, and based on my experience, the food is good, clean and very well priced.
There was a bit of noise early evening, but this disappeared after 9.30pm.
Aircraft noise is constant, but you get used to it.
They can order a meter taxi for any time and come to your room for your bags when the taxi arrives.
The journey at 5.30am took 30 minutes and cost B200. This was a really good run, so think 20 minutes from the airport is an ambitious statement.
Very good hotel for the money and recommended.

We always stay at Sananwan Palace when we come to Bangkok. A few weeks ago we stayed in their new Hometel . It was wonderful , clean , new and we had a lovely view of the countryside at the back of the building. It is affordable and not far from the airport. If we wanted to visit the sights of Bangkok we would get a taxi to the Sky train and go from there to the water taxis. It is really nice staying at Sananwan away from the major busy tourist areas . It is a short walk to the floating market and the Big C shopping complex where you can buy everything and anything you may want or need. If you haven't been there already ,we can highly recommend a stay at Sananwan...PS the beautiful swimming pool is an extra bonus

Sananwan is so easy to get to from the airport! Nearly all of the taxi drivers know it, and it costs about 200 baht to get there
The rooms are clean and comfortable with a hot shower, kettle, fridge, and a TV. (We also had a great view of the Temple).
If you want to relax after a long flight, there is a lovely swimming pool and you can order food from the 24hr menu to eat there or in your room. If you have specific dietary requirements, then the friendly and helpful receptionists will instruct the kitchen staff accordingly.
If you fancy going out for the day, to Bangkok or the nearby markets, Temples or mega stores, the receptionists can assist you by organising a taxi or by guiding you on how to find and use the local transport.
All in all, great value for money with delicious food (especially the green curry!) With friendly, accommodating staff and a lush swimming pool!

The hotel is very clean and very good service. The price is very low.We have dinner there also, it's wonderful. I recommend.

Very cozy place with incredibly cheap prices. Pool is clean and refreshing. New building about to be opened and looks better than some Hilton hotels! Kids loved it.
Nearby is floating market and many big temples which has lots of beautiful spots for photo and recreation. Recommend to all!

They advertise as 3 star hotel, but everything is 5 star. The service, the hospitality the food … all 5 star. And a great inviting swimming pool.
We have been coming here every year for 6 years, still the same friendly owners. You just cannot fault this place.

Very good hotel, very friendly staff, nice rooms and swimming pool

Everything was good. We're happy to stay here as a brand new hotel in the centre of Bangpli Yai near the Suvarnabhumi airport. The room is very new, clean , enjoys super wifi, Netflix with large smart TV and new building with modern style in Bangpli and actually feel like the first one who stay here. Big pool that we can enjoy and service restaurant with both of international food and Thai food. The receptions were very nice, they call taxi for us to go shopping in central of bangkok and Suvarnabhumi airport.
I'd go there again.

This is a great hotel on the outskirts of Bangkok about 20 minutes from the airport. Lots of really nice temples nearby and a superb old teak market. Perfect place to start or end your journey in Thailand. Service is excellent, staff are so friendly, food is really good too.

💯👏👏👏This hotel is 20 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport it will cost you 800 Bart a night in the new part of the hotel a/c Tv room service or the old part of the hotel room with a/c Tv room service, 650 Bart and 550 Bart and room with fan, no a/c Tv 400 Bart. and the staff are very friendly and helpful  it’s a good starting point for an adventure in Thailand  there are no other hotels around this area that has a swimming pool 🏊‍♀ after a long flight  you can be a lovely relaxing, swimming pool  have some nice food very cheap  there is a big supermarket and little market buy clothes, sandals, shorts, bags McDonald’s, KFC sushi and much more  don’t change your money in England bring English, cash and change it here in Bangkok. You get a better rate at the moment it is 41.33 to the pound you can get internal flights and flights to Vietnam 🇻🇳 Indonesia 🇮🇩 and trains and buses very cheap travel around Thailand  and the staff at the hotel will help you in. Anyway they can with your needs. 

Highly recommend if you arrive to Bangkok and need some place to recharge and rest after your arrival. Suitable for single, groups and couple and very clean rooms and facilities. Also Highly recommend exploring the area, there are many temples and interesting market. :)

A wonderful place to stay on the outskirts of Bangkok quite close to BKK airport but far enough away for aircraft noise not to be disturbing.

Their pool is amazing so I would recommend staying long enough to enjoy that together with delicious food by the pool's green surroundings. So many tropical plants around.

The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and excellent value for the price range. Although furniture is a little dated It adds to the authentic Thai experience with lots of traditional timber finishes. There is no lift but your bags will be whisked upstairs for you.

The staff mostly speak good English, and go out of their way to be helpful. They will do their best to help with any issues you may have.

This hotel is located in a typical Thai suburb with a busy market in the Wat grounds next to an old timber market over the khlong that still operates as it has for many generations. From there you will find a foot bridge leading to the modern BigC complex for a current shopping mall experience.

There are many simple low cost transport options to take you to the centre of Bangkok within an hour, or to explore many other attractions in the immediate area. Just ask reception for suggestions.

When we were there the finishing touches were being made on a new 28 bed building to have more luxury finishes and includes a lift. Higher level floors should have excellent views. I recommend checking it out when it is completed.

Lovely place for such a small budget! We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner here, ordering a variety of different food and each one was delicious. They also have a little area by reception for snacks (crisps, biscuits) bedrooms were very spacious with a little balcony area that led to the bathroom. The balcony area was great for drying clothes while maintaining privacy. The pool area had sun from around 11-4, and was a lovely temperature to cool down. Would recommend staying here like we did for a low cost budget stay close to the airport. Also just want to add, staff were lovely!

Good range of room options depending on your budget. Clean. Nice pool with lovely plants. Restaurant too. Everything you’d want :)

There were two posh looking US tourists waiting for a taxi near reception this morning.
I said “Everything OK...Can I help?”
The couple (mid sixties), he responded “We’re fine thank you, just waiting for a taxi”.
Looking at their expensive shiny suitcases I said “Going to the airport?”
“No, we are going to the Conrad” (Conrad Hilton). “We just flew in last night from LA, the plane was late and the taxi driver brought us here in the middle of the night”.
(I don’t understand why!).
A few pleasantries ensued.
Him: “This place is amazing, excellent food, comfortable and so cheap. A huge surprise for us”.
Me: “I like it and so do many farang (overseas tourists) and local Thais. It’s a great place to stay”.
Then I added jokingly, “You might even enjoy it more than the Conrad”
Him: “You know, I think you may be right!”.

Nearly Suvarnabhumi Airport. Cheap price good rooms

This is a top notch place for its price point. At only 450 baht or $14 USD, I had a 2-person room with a queen bed and a ceiling fan, and 2 free water bottles daily. There is a nice, well decorated pool open to all the guests. I like the fauna around the hotel. Good selection of palms and vines to give it a natural feel. All the Thai staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. I met the owner, who is English, and he is also very kind. I was shocked at how cheap it was. I would come here again and recommend it to any frugal traveler!

Staff is polite and very helpful. Rooms are clean and are furnished ok/nicely. Double rooms with connecting doors. Clean bathroom. Order food and drinks from your room, extensive menu 24h, very reasonable priced. Swimming pool is clean and there is a very beautiful temple in walking distance. All orders will get signed by you, hence 100% transparency. Owner's son is extremely friendly and helped me filling out immigration forms. At times planes might fly over you, but that's depending on wind and peak hours aren't at night. Planespotters might just feel very happy. Perfect for last or first nights if you want to stay near the airport.

Checked in into their new facility, and it is incredible. Nice staff, service, 24hr restaurant, and superfast Wifi. Highly recommended.
