Service was extraordinary 👍🏻 Every staff there was always smiling and very helpful. There’s pick up service from one place to another (to assembly pick up points and to the lobby). Breakfast food was good as well 👍🏻 There’s a library, places to do massages and beautiful swimming pools. On the island, not much shopping and other touristy places here other than the beautiful clear beaches if you plan to explore around the island in a bike. If you’re looking for a place to chill, relax, massage and make babies 😂, this resort is a great place 😉

One of the best resorts I’ve ever been in my life! It totally made my Thailand vacation!!
Staff very prepared and kind. We have a one year old daughter and everyone was extremely welcoming and nice.
The resort is simply stunning and curated in every detail. We spent 4days there and never left. The pools are beautiful and clean, the beach is very nice and the design sunbeds make it lovely to watch the sunset while relaxing.
Spaces are big and there are cars to bring you to the different places or the resort. It’s a really good working service, one comes one goes.
Breakfast was excellently good and had everything you might wish for, with an amazing view nonetheless.
The only thing I would improve is the lunch and dinners quality of the restaurants to match the high standards of everything else.
We are Italians so food is important :)
But we really appreciated the room service option as we loved our room so much we would have never left!!!
Last but not least! Very good Spa! We loved our massages and didn’t feel like they were expensive for the service and care they offer

The experience staying at this hotel is really wonderful. Both the interior spaces and the gardens, beach and pools are breathtaking. There is a lot of attention to detail, also in the friendly service.

I don’t understand the reviews complaining about the price of the food and drinks. Of course it’s more expensive than buying a Pad Thai from the side of the road. You’re eating at a nice hotel, you’re paying a premium for the location and service.

Fantastic stay at this beautiful place situated on a hillside with a view of the sea. We got really good service, especially when requesting help through the app we got prompt response and quick follow-up to resolve our issues. The checkin/checkout was a bit confusing with no feeling of control among the many other guests seeking help.

We enjoyed the breakfast and the infinity pool at the hotel near the top of the hill, and also the free kayak and paddle boards.

All the restaurants have a confusing ordering system using a qr code; not very encouraging and we gave up and walked along the beach to the many other places that offer more personal service.

This was one of the greatest parts of our vacation in Asia. The smooth and on time transfer organization, the spacious rooms with a nice view, the care they provide, the safety they assure, the food they cook, the treatments and the tours they offer — these are the particles which make your vacation pleasant and wonderful. Breakfasts were great, with a live traditional music in background. I definitely would recommend the "Three Islands private tour" with snorkeling and options to ride a waterscooter around one of the following Islands (for extra money). I was riding it on the 3rd island, and it was awesome! The private spa treatment with "fire on stomach" was also great and super relaxing. These friendly people definitely know how to make your stay super positive and peaceful.

I had an amazing time at the beautiful Santhiya resort and it was accurate to what was pictured and described. The staff are all welcoming and friendly, at the end of the trip they felt like family. They pay attention to little details that make your stay memorable - from the decors at your villa all the way down to the beach you are in awe. If you are in hesitation on whether it'll be worth your time, it totally is! Food here is delicious (I was saying "wow" eating every dish) and well priced, the views and amenities are exceptional. As the resort is surrounded by trees, you will come across many insects and creatures so make sure you keep your doors closed and invest in bug spray and bug bite ointments!

You can also easily book other island excursions if interested. Very easy to plan and be a part of! I was also impressed with how smooth transportation from and back to the airport was. The staff is very organized.

This is an exotic location and immensely beautiful place. We ended our Thailand trip in Santhiya and I would say that was one main highlight of our trip. The view from the main pool with the waterfall is beautiful, the kids side of the pool is huge and very safe, our 2.5 year old was actually swimming in the pool. The infinity pool is another boast of this place.The sunset by the beach is captivating. The view from the morning restaurant is amazing. Santhiya has the perfect mixture of river and hills in the resort. The staff catered to every request, the check in and the transfer was smooth. They have a huge kid's club (of course, being with a toddler, we appreciate places which sees kid's amusements too). The island is beautiful, we drove through the island and we felt like we were the only people there. The buggies were always in time whenever we wanted to step out.

We extended our stay and loved every minute of it. The vast resort never feels too crowded and the villas and hotels are embedded in the jungle with spectacular views of the bay. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The beach and pool amenities are very well maintained and clean. We really enjoyed our day trips with the fantastic and fun tour guide Yaya :-). The great thing about the tours is that they are limited to around 10-12 people max. - granting you a more exclusive experience. The SPA offering is also fantastic - we got massages by the beach almost every day. The resort is next to a small town, which you can also explore for additional dining opportunities. I hope we can return at one point!

We stayed here during January 2024 for 3 nights during our honeymoon. After 1 week of travelling around Bangkok, Phuket and the islands this was the perfect end for our vacation. The rooms, the staff, the atmosphere and the food it was all perfect.

We stayed at the normal Deluxe Sea View room and Ocean Pool Villa. Both were amazing and I can ensure you that you will have a good time at the hotel in all of the rooms.

I will give more than 5 stars if possible!
We came for our anniversary and I couldn’t be happier with our decision.
From the moment you arrive you feel like in heaven. The resort is surrounded by a beautiful green area and with a private beach, blue Crystal color that makes it magical.

The staff: the kindest & most welcoming people in there. Very helpful and warm.

The room: a dream! Waking up with the sunrise and seeing the sea from your own bed is the most relaxing things. The size of the room is great, spacious, bed extremely comfy & so the pillows. You have a mini kitchen and the terrace with a bath .
The bathroom is also amazing size spacious.
The interior design of the complete hotel is breathtaking! Full of hand carved wood, beautiful wherever you look at.

The restaurants: amazing food offer and the taste is just spotless! It was amazing that every restaurant has live music , even for breakfast this just makes the experience more memorable!

The massages area by the beach was also super appreciated as you could the. Just jump to the beach and continuing your relaxing day.

We loved every second there - we had an ocean view pool suite with a breathtaking view and a lovely pool to ourselves. The inifnity pool up next to the breakfast area was incredibly beautiful, the beach was nice and clean and we ate good food at all hotel restaurants. The vegetarian menu platter (several dishes to try) was delicious. The only thing to consider is that the area is huge (shuttle rides are fun though) and many people stay in this resort - we were beforehand at Santhiya Phuket Natai and had the whole beach to ourselves and the pool was hardly used, it was very peaceful and quiet. That's the only small negative point but everything else was perfect.

Santhiya stands out as one of the best resorts I've experienced in my life. Our two-day stay in November 2023, as part of our honeymoon trip to Thailand, began with a magical journey from the landing pier in Koh Yao Yai. Seamless ferry booking, an exquisite resort with calming aesthetics created by extensive wood use, and great views from any point made the entire experience exceptional.

The wooden car for transport within the resort added a unique touch, and the rooms were exceptionally comfortable, boasting luxurious interiors and balcony views. The breakfast, with its diverse options and high-quality food from a fast-moving live kitchen, was impressive.

The staff's excellent training was evident in their interactions, and they were incredibly helpful with all our queries and requests. Exploring the island was made easy with bike rentals conveniently located next to the resort.

In essence, Santhiya offers a retreat from the world for a few days. We're undoubtedly returning on our next visit to Thailand.

Great location. The resort offers spectacular views from every corner of the property. It’s a paradise on earth. The staff is very helpful & the amenities are perfect for your dreamy vacation in Thailand.

We missed phi phi tour as it was sold out but had a lovely time exploring the island by renting a bike from a shop recommended by the resort front office who were very helpful at all times.

Definitely recommend booking with Santhiya directly via their website, it’s totally safe & easy to book.

Santhiya on Koh Yao Yai is a perfect resort, drawing me back for a second visit. Although rooms are a bit far, the efficient car pickups with friendly drivers compensate for the distance. The spa and massages are top-notch, and the reasonably priced, high-quality food, along with excellent room service options, enhance the overall experience. A small suggestion for the resort: maintaining consistency in pricing for takeaways, encouraging eco-friendly practices. Can't wait to return!

Nice quiet family friendly but also romantic resort. Rooms and views are amazing. Staff is incredible. The whole process of getting on and off the island is efficient and stress free.

I do have a few suggestions.

1. Would be to have a welcome pack with all the information handed to us digitally or in printed form with information such as, where all the various free activities are located, how to.bokk them. How the transport works as it's different for rooms vs villas.
2. Have better communication in relation to tours etc.

Other than that, I could not fault this place.

We have returned to Santhiya Koh Yao Yai after 5 years. This is our 3rd stay at a Santhiya Resort, the 1st being in Koh Phangan. Must say, we were a bit worried it might not be the same BUT we were wrong. The villas remain as pristine and beautiful as before, breathtaking views and service levels remains excellent. There are a few differences from prior visits, like the welcome reception, room familiarization tour etc something the management could consider reintroducing when appropriate. Overall happy with our stay so far and looking forward to our remaining 4 days here. This round we are here with our kids who are enjoying the stay. Kudos to the team.

We dined twice at this marvellous restaurant, whose wooden architecture is a sight to behold. Very tasty food, super attentive and professional staff, always with a smile. The table runners work hard to carry the large trays. What we didn't like was the way the menu was presented, we had to scan the menu on our mobile phone and it showed super small images with small text that was difficult to see. Like us, we noticed that many customers asked for the menu on paper, as we found it difficult to read. Poor waitresses who will soon have to wear glasses to take orders. For customers from outside the hotel we have to pay 450 BHT per person as a deposit, which will be deducted from the final bill. Reasonable bugget for a couple without children 60 euros.Otherwise spectacular, we loved it

Santhiya resort on Koh Yao Yai island is a one of a kind experience. I accidentally booked a non-refundable stay here thinking it was on Phi Phi island (where I originally wanted to go) and despite the difficulty in getting there…I was extremely impressed with the overall experience.

Firstly, I have to applaud the staff and management at this resort. Everything runs efficiently and is an organized process. You can tell a lot of through went into creating an unforgettable experience. From transportation services around the hotel to the efficient buffet, every little detail has been thought out. In addition to efficiency, the staff are so kind and attentive. The resort also feels safe.

In regards to the atmosphere- Santhiya is incredibly relaxing. That being said, if you’re looking for “night out vibes” you won’t find that on the resort but you can walk down the beach for places that offer drinks and music. Santhiya is a place for family and couples. They have free 30min kayak and paddle board rentals, offer Muay Thai and Yoga classes and have two incredible massage facilities. You won’t be bored at any point in your stay.

My partner and I booked the pool suite and the views and room was incredible. One note, the villa we booked did not have sun during the day, so if you’re looking to sunbathe from your room just double check that detail if you can. The room comes with a bathtub on the balcony, silk robes and slippers, and a fully stocked mini fridge.

My favorite part of the resort was the food. Hands down the most delicious Thai food I’ve tried and they even crushed then international dishes. There’s a few different restaurants you can eat from and each offer room service, dine in and take out services.

Overall my stay was just wonderful. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with your partner and are flying into Phuket, definitely stay at Santhiya for a few nights - it’s absolutely stunning.
