วัดนี้สร้างขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี 2489 เดิมชาวบ้านเรียกว่าวัดน้ำล้อม แต่เปลี่ยนมาเชื่อแม่ทุเลา ตามชื่อหมู่บ้าน โดยภายในนี้ประกอบด้วยโบสถ์ วิหาร ศาลาการเปรียญ และเจดีย์องค์โต สิ่งที่เรียกให้เราอยากมาที่นี่คืออุโบสถหลังเก่าแห่งนี้ มันมีความคลาสิก และเป็นวัดเก่าแก่ที่ควรค่าแก่การมาเยี่ยมชมมาก ๆ

และอีกหนึ่งความโดดเด่นคือเจดีย์ สีทองอร่ามที่มีลาดลายการแกะสลักสวยงาม ด้านล่างมีบันไดนาคทั้ง 4 ทิศ

Wat Mae Thulao temple is located half an hour away from Sawankhalok by car. First thing first, we follow the Thai way of taking the trip—get the blessing from Buddha for a safe and blessing journey. Wat Mae Thulao or Wat Nam Lom (former name) was built in A.D. 1946. The holy temple featured the beautiful Buddhist sanctuary, ordination hall (Ubosot), Buddha images hall (Viharn), and chedi.

The most recommended area to visit inside this temple is the old ordination hall, which is widely renowned.

Another must-see area is the shiny golden chedi with neat sculptures and four refined great Naga staircases.
