Kohmook Nurse House was a great choice for our stay in Koh Muk. The room is very spacious, clean, welcoming, and equipped with all necessary amenities. It also has thoughtful details not found in other accommodations, such as spaces to hang clothes and towels, and a double set of towels per person. When we arrived, the owner provided us with important information about the island and was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Renting a scooter from her was an excellent option to explore the island!

Our stay at the Nurse House on Koh Mook was a real highlight of our trip to Thailand. The hospitality of Fha, our host, was particularly impressive. Her warmth and attentiveness made our days there special.

During our three days with Fha, we felt well cared for and experienced a family-like atmosphere that's rare to find. Her meticulous care and commitment to the well-being of her guests were evident at every moment.

The Nurse House itself provided us with the perfect mix of comfort and tranquility, ideal for enjoying the beauty of Koh Mook. The accommodation was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxed stay.

We leave Nurse House with wonderful memories and the hope to see Fha again in the future. We sincerely thank her for the great time and recommend Nurse House to anyone looking for an authentic and warm experience in Thailand. N + A🇨🇭

Amazing bungalows on a great island. The owner Bell and his family run this place. All of them are very friendly and helpful and they speak good English.

They also offer food at their place which is absolutely amazing (and cheap at the same time).

We stayed here for two nights. We recommend a longer stay since the bungalows and the island are great.
Definitely worth a visit!

- no warm water available

Very good stay for price. I rated them highly on Agoda. Had breakfast and lunch here. Delighted with the experience and their well maintained property

We stayed 3 nights at Nurse house and had a lovely stay. Bell and her mom are really nice and caring and the place feels very relaxing. We had almost all of our meals there as Mama’s cooking is delicious. Located near the jungle on the trail to the viewpoint. Don’t hesitate to stop there for a few nights or just a meal!

The perfect place to stay. We were here for 7 nights and it offered everything we could possibly want and more. The staff are the nicest people and go out of their way to make the stay amazing. Clean, friendly, great location in the bush away from the busyness of the village, and Fa is a fantastic cook too. Could not recommend more highly!

Great hosts who pay attention to detail, wonderful service, cozy bungalow up the hill with AC and a terrace. You can rent a bike from there or walk (the hotel is close to the tsunami evacuation point). Yummy breakfast. Best value for money!

Highly recommended place. We spent 6 nights here and we are very satisfied. Bell (owner) is super helpful, friendly and kind host. He helped us to arrange our transfer to Koh Mook and back (such a great help!), advised some good places on the island, took us back home or to the beach (we don't drive motorbike) if we asked. In the time of our stay, we were 4th guest from re-opening, restaurant was closed. Still, Bell probided bread and jam, cooked eggs for us and order cheap food whenever we asked. Also, they allowed us to wash our clothes.
Room is super clean and very spacious, with AC, fan, bathrobes, umbrellas, sarongs, kettle and toiletries. Bed is comfortable (hard, but we love that) with 4 (!) Big pillows (two different hardness). Bell and his family are improving all the time.
There are minor issues - noise (jungle + if there is rain, it bumbs to the metal roof); Beach is a bit far (1,5 km to Sivalai, 3 km to Garnet Beach) - usually, we like walking (but roads are not super nice and people do not care about garbage too much), Bell took his little taxi to bring us whenever we asked; cold water only (maybe it'll change in the future) - so probably you won't use the bathtub. Still, we think pros are highly above cons.

For people who love nature, calm and cozy bungalows.
You can tell Bell, the owner is passionate about this place. He just opened the hotel a month ago so the facilities are very modern while keeping an authentic Thai family atmosphere.

What we loved the most
- good breakfast
- great value for money
- vegetables coming from the garden
- close to the island’s viewpoint

Best place to stay in Koh Mook! Thanks a lot to Bell and her mommy for the great time and the incredibly good Thai food. We felt like home and we’re quite sad to leave after 3 nights. See you soon!

This was a lovely place to stay. Koh Mook is a great place to visit, a lot of things to do and not far at all from Nurse House. The staff is great, a truly family business. The food was amazing. The rooms were lovely, sea facing, but keep in mind that that's not the bit of the sea where you can swim. You had a little sitting area outside your hut where you could just relax and enjoy the nice view of the sea. They have a big communal area off the restaurant where you can just enjoy the sunrise or just have a lovely meal. They also organise trips for you, so just ask. There are many beaches on the Island, Charlie Beach on the complete other side is the best, to my taste. We walked on the way there, it was about half hour, on the way back I couldn't convince my partner so we took a "motor taxi" they have a unique fare 50 bahts per person, anywhere on the island. Wherever you go it's not far. If I had to give some bad points would be on the Sivalai Beach, to me it doesn't feel like a public beach... It's taken over both sides by the big resorts.

Where to start? Nurse House only has four rooms and all were new and immaculately presented. The beds and pillows are really comfortable and the huge window makes you feel part of the organic vegetable plot outside which are used in the lovely meals they serve.
But the best thing is how warm and welcoming Bell and his family are...they want to give more than receive which is always a sign of great hosts. Bell let us borrow his scooter, arranged a longtail to Libong much cheaper than we could find and as hes the doctor for the island even remedied a few ailments!

We didnt want to leave. Thank you Bell and family ❤

Loved the place. Nice huts with lovely views, good food, friendly staff, english-speaking owner and affordable prices. Life slows down when you're in Koh Mook.

Tho the island can be a bit dirty in some parts and the mopeds on the road too much BUT staying here was like our own paradise. Very relaxing and very friendly. Fa and her family are amazing and take good care of you and mom's cooking is the best - my fav was green curry and dumplings in coconut cream. The hut is nice and spacious with sliding glass door and a decking area with chairs to sit on. Toiletries are provided and loads of shops just walking distance (5-10 mins). The huts are sea facing but this part of the beach is not great to swim on as it can be a bit dirty and tide gets very low but other nice beach is just 10-12 mins walk away. Fa organised a private long tail boat trip for us around the island and emerald cave, which was reasonable and very enjoyable :) the accomodation is about 10 mins walk from the pier along the beach but if you have heavy luggage or are physically chalkenged then get a tuk tuk from the pier. Nurse house consists of 6 huts - 5 in the garden area and number 6 right on the water ( so if you want that one then you need to email FA as soon as you book). You will definitely enjoy your stay here as we did and we highly recommend it :)

Peaceful and quiet place owned by a lovable and caring family.
Great food and they'll help you book trips and transfer, some of it even cheaper than in town.
