The Tropical Koh Mook

We only spent one night in Koh Mook, but I wish we had spent more! This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The room was brand new, clean and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very quickly (I don't love AC but for those who need it, it was excellent here). The bathroom was huge and very clean. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, especially the huge breakfast. The location, right on the beach, was stunning. One of the most beautiful sunrises I've ever seen, complete with hornbills in the trees. This was one of my favourite hotels I've ever stayed in, I'd highly recommend it!

Great rooms. Very friendly. Incredible breakfast. There is no beach here but you are walking distance to the village in a very quiet area. Lots of food options.

We enjoyed our time at The Tropical, owner is very nice and the morning breakfast is well thought. Room was nice, you feel like in the jungle with the little huts. The only problems that we had are with a mouse who ate some of our fruits and also munched from our headphones as well. If you like to see how it is to sleep very close to a jungle or nature this is it. But it will not be as confortabile as a fully enclosed room. I am giving it a five star because of the hospitality and great service, but rooms can be improved. You are also close to the pier and can get boats and taxi just by walking.

A lovely couple and family run this fabulous place within the village side of Koh Mook along from the pier. They have worked hard to create an eco friendly environment based on sustainable materials. Nice, rustic wooden bungalows and rooms in a green tropical setting. They provide the most amazing breakfasts, great choices all freshly prepared. Great value for money! OK!.... Koh Mook island needs to tidy up and you will hear lots of animal sounds here, but don't let that cloud your mind about this lovely place and the friendly, welcoming people.

The best in Koh Mook. Don't bother yourself searching for anything else in the area.

It's a really nice Tropical experience, the name is the Programm. You are living in the real jungle.

Every House has at least partial sea view. All houses are build on rods, so you don't have to mess with the soil.

When i was there, they only had appartments with fan, but they were building new ones with AC, if you need. I did not need.

All in all i would come again, nice nature and nice staff.

We stayed in Tropical Koh Mook for 3 nights. Our bungalow was lovely! Pretty much everything is made out of wood; it looks simple yet charming. In the frontline of bungalows you get a beautiful sea view which changes all the time depending on whether it’s high tide or low tide. There is also a common area where you can chill 24/7 with beautiful views, cold drinks and more. Breakfast served here is definitely worth to mention as well - it is delicious and we highly recommend to get it included during your stay! The owners are super kind people, they obviously put a lot of work and care into this place and it shows. All in all, we can recommend staying in Tropical Koh Mook, just don’t forget to bring some ear plugs (although we found this to be a must in pretty much every place in Thailand, mostly because of the animals).

Beautiful resort and lovely service.

Our room was smart and clean, with a beautiful view. There are a lot of chickens outside so bring earplugs for the morning.

The staff were lovely and made one of the best breakfasts of our trip.

The tropical - the paradise. We had a reservation for 2 nights and at the end prolonged for 4. You are in the middle of local life, “city center” is not far away, you can go on foot or rent a motorbike. The bungallow is dreamy, wooden with a great design - done by the owner. The vibe of this small boutique resort is astonishing. The owner and his wife do all by themselves and are extremely helpful and friendly. We would (hopefully will) defenitely come back.
If you come to Koh Mook be ready for prestine local life with garbage, no roads, amazing beaches and in our opinion great thai vibe.

Best little resort with bungalows we stayed in. Owners were lovely and really helpful. They serve the most delicious breakfast and even made us sandwiches for our ferry. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at The Tropical Koh Mook. The bungalows are simple but charming. It's an IG kind of place with rustic sweet details. The couple that runs it is adorable. They will go out of their way to make you feel at home and the breakfast it's exceptional.

I loved it.

Bungalows right by the ocean. One of them is almost standing in the water. It's located at the northern end of the village. This means restaurants and shops are closeby but it's also quite.

The bungalow was clean and well equipped.

The owners are super friendly and served great breakfast.

Also perfectly located to watch the sunrise.

I've been here for 3 days, nothing bad to say.

What a great little resort on the beach. I loved this place! Plus the staff were amazing! The breakfast they prepared was so delicious. If you are looking for a tranquil, chilled atmosphere, this place is awesome.

I must say that i would have expected Hot shower and a more closed walls Bungalow Since the place has such good reviews.

But it doesnt matter. The hosts are so welcoming and amazing that it gets a 5 Star Rating anyway. The place is amazing
