Phusam Big Resort

The rooms are decent, the owner is very nice, free water when u ask from the fridge, little balcony to chill in the eve or out the sun in the day. This is probably the best place to stay on the island it's a 8 min walk to Charlie beach or 15 into town but Charlie beach is where you want to be.

Great resort, awesome pool, very good value. The fan rooms have mosquito net doors and windows instead of the traditional mosquito net over the bed, makes all the difference to comfort level. Not far from beach. Will definitely come back and stay again.

Great experience. The lady who owns the resort is the most sweet and friendly person. The location for us was perfect. Away from the center of the island and super close to the best beach: Charlie beach. The bungalows are spread along the trees and the sound of nature was what we needed. The bungalows are cheap and basic but had everything we were looking for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend if peace and quiet is what you are looking for.

The perfect spot and the nicest owners!
Nicely situated between the GOOD BEACH (8 min walk) and town (15 min walk) so we didn’t need to rent a bike. Saw so many amazing birds and animals on our walks, too.
The owners are unbelievably nice! They went above and beyond to make us even happier than we already were and they taught us a lot about island life. So interesting!
We have to decided to circle back here after the other islands. We love it.

Lovely family running the resort. They’re willing to make extra efforts for guests and do motorcycle shuttle to the beach. Their breakfast portion is generous and you will be very full. We extended our stay and recommend it highly.

We stayed two nights and decided to extend our stay at Phusam for one more night. The huts are clean and have nice chairs to sit outside. Furthermore, you can walk within 10 min to Charlie beach (the nicest of the two beaches) and 3 min of restaurant Hilltop. The other beach can be accessed by foot as well in about 25 min.

Breakfast was nice: Banana Pancakes!
Also the staff booked a cheap and well organized transfer to Trang airport.

In short: for this price the stay is totally worth it! We stayed one night In Koyao bungalows Wich are far more expensive. But compared to this, not worth the money. Better save some on the location and spend a bit more on delicious food in one of the restaurants.

Good bed, clean and nice surroundings. 10 minute walk to the best beach, Charlie's. Refrigerator is great if staying long time and 2 bottles of water each day. The owner speaks very little English but she is a fun lady. For further transport she also gives real prices and a discount for staying there. Very good value for money especially if staying more than a couple of days and negotiate a lower price. Koh Mook is very chilled, you can Pay 2 to 3 times the price on the 2 nearby islands to do the same but I would pick here.

Quiet bungalows in the middle of a well maintained garden. Great breakfast (if included it is 3 items a la carte). Cool at night so A/C is not really needed. The lady who manages it is super nice and helped us book our transfer to Trang. A great value !

Super place to stay for a few days on great island. Close to Charlie beach which is great space to rest and sunbath. Resort is very nice. Great staff. Wonderfull breakfast and very friendly people.

Very nice cottages, the one we had was with fan and was clean. Had a small problem with my first cottage and the staff changed me to another one without any issue. Friendly staff, not all spoke English but some do. So you can get everything sorted. Loved the singing of the frogs at night :)

Very nice stuff, service was amazing! We always got what we needed (e.g. new coffee for the room). Also the breakfast is delicous and cheap! The rooms are clean and very beautiful!

We have been very satisfied! They refill our bottle for free, and the breakfast is good, too.

It is lovely ,clean place..Rat (Thai means jewellery ) (the girl meet us reception was lovely..we had great five days.
