Pawapi Beach Resort, koh mook

A rather excellent resort tucked into a corner of Koh Mook. Off the beaten path but within walking range of downtown. The rooms are amazingly beautiful and hang over the beach.

As a response to other reviews: this is a poor island in a poor country, so if you are looking for a western resort experience this is not it. Go stay at a Marriott in Bangkok. This is a private resort owned by locals not a corporation.

We stayed in Beach Villa 2 and it was great. We were welcomed with a sunrise each morning and walked out to a nice breakfast waiting for us. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone who is not a boomer.

I can definitely say that we will be back.

What a stunning place, the staff at this resort are the most beautiful people! They made our stay absolutely fantastic.
The beach bungalows are very rustic and definitely need some renovations, however the villas which are new are absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!! The views are incredible the balcony from the villas are literally right on the beach.
The beach opposite Pawapi is the best beach to swim in, there is NO stingrays on this side.
What a magical place.

Wonderful experience at Pawapi :) Friendly staff who went out of their way to accommodate my custom noodle order. My favorite was their watermelon smoothie. The bungalow rooms are really cute, rustic and comfortable decor, and have outdoor showers which was a nice touch. I like having a cold shower in the summer heat.

100% the best choice on Koh Mook/Trang Islands. Beautiful villas and bungalows right on the beach. Panoramic view of surrounding islands, safe swimming, lovely gardens, large swimming pool, bar, restaurant - but it doesn't feel corporate - relaxed and friendly. A couple of minutes walk to the village through coconut trees!

We got beach villa #2. Truly beach front. Perfect spot to watch sunrise. Very quiet and friendly staffs.

If you are coming to Koh Mook, I would suggest you rent a bike (200 baht) from the Jetty itself. It will make travelling very easy.

One of the best hotels we have been to during our 3 weeks trip. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially men in the restaurant:) Food was good, swimmingpool clean and comfortable. It was a low season so we enjoyed the hotel almost exclusively still with good weather:)

I've gotta say, I was pretty underwhelmed when I visited this place 11 months ago, but after following the owner's suggestion to come back for a happy hour, I'm upgrading my review to 5 stars.

The atmosphere was truly tranquil and the mosquito repellent they provided was a nice touch.

All in all, it was a very nice experience and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to unwind with a drink in a peaceful setting.

Had a fabulous couple of nights here. We were lucky and got upgraded to a beach front villa which I would recommend. The view from the bed was stunning. JJ, Lois and the team were so helpful throughout our stay. Within walking distance of the hotel there are some amazing food options and it’s easy access for a trip to the emerald cave. The pool was also lovely and big enough to swim lengths.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Pawapi. The hotel itself is fantastic with all of the amenities kept in top condition. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. If you are venturing to Koh Mook this is definitely the best resort to stay at.

We had a lovely time here. All of the staff here very friendly and did whatever they can do to make our stay a memorable experience. The hotel is located in a good location on the beach front and is a short walk to many restaurants. Good for families, single or couple travellers.

This trip to koh Mook was a very important trip for me and my husband. We are so happy we chose Pawapi instead the first option we looked at.
This place maximizes our experience with the genuine treatment and beauty of nature. The entire team is extremely accommodating and sincerely treated us as their personal guests from the first contact through messages until we were in the boat taking off from the island. The arrangement from Trang airport to the facility and Emerald cave was completely flawless. Our value of this vacation was well beyond our expectation.

Looking for quiet island and choose Koh Mook for sleep over night. Pawapi Resort is great place and very clean beach. Not much people as low season. I love this resort and enjoy my holiday. Bar happy hour is valued

Best place to stay on the island. Very clean and beautiful. Even in low season when the rest of the island is quiet and closed. Swimming pool is amazing. You can spend your whole day here. Owner and staff are so kind!

I just returned back from Pawapi Beach Resort, It was such an amazing unforgettable holiday! The atmosphere and nature there reminded me with my previous holidays in the Maldives islands. The resort location on the island is great just on the edge of Koh Mook Island! I was staying with my friends in a Sea View Villa which was so nice and spacious. Many thanks to Pawapi staff, they really made a difference to our holiday by always exceeding our expectations! We will be back soon.

We didn't stayed at the hotel but we went there to the beach. The Owner of the hotel was such a friendly Guy who showed us everything. He even allowed us to use his Stand up paddels. It was very nice!!

I recently visited the hotel pawapi beach koh mob with my friends. We booked two villas which were spacious and comfy. The beach and atmosphere were amazing. The staff was v friendly and trying to satisfy our needs n exceed our expectations. Many the to the staff there Marina, olga, Anna and Sylvia

We have chosen a villa in the front row and it was fantastic. The building was nice with every comfort we needed and the sea was basically just under the terrace. Beautiful!Breakfast was also great and WiFi worked well.

Excellent and friendly staff. The resort is located on a peaceful sandy beach which is very good for relaxing. The food tastes wonderful and real local.
