INHALE at HILL

We have absolutely loved our stay in this little piece of paradise.
The resort is very small, making it very private and peaceful. The surroundings are being kept tidy and clean, and all the stuff in the Resort are very helpful and friendly. The beach is around 10 minutes walk. In front of hotel is the mangrove pier area ( unswimable) where you can sit and relax and spot dugongs. The nature surrounding this little corner of the island is very beautiful. We have seen Dugongs every day just infront of the breakfast area. There are also sea turtles in the shallow water and also many other kind of beautiful birds including toucans just around the bungalows. The breakfast is very delicious and you can come to refill your drinking water anytime, be really appreciated that the hotel strive to be eco friendly and in tune with the beautiful nature in koh Mook.
If you are looking for a peaceful stay and be surrounded by a nature we highly recommend, we cannot wait to come back.

'Inhale at Hill' in Ko Muk is a peaceful spot perfect for a relaxing getaway. It has a unique touch with its outdoor bathrooms and showers, which are always clean and make you feel safe. The people working there are super friendly and know a lot about where to go and what to see on the island. Plus, you can rent a bike to go around and see the sights. It's a great place to stay if you're looking to chill out and enjoy the island life.

Amazing hotel , views are stunning and the staff really makes you feel at home. Ann really goes above and beyond to help you out with every questions.

The rooms and the bar are beautiful and very well kept.

Breakfast is fantastic as well.

I regret not staying longer!

This is the place you should stay. We've been to many islands in Thiland and this is the best 3 star(?) resort we've ever stayed in. We stayed in Koh kradan before so I can say just STAY HERE and go to Kradan for a day trip by private long tail boat. I think they will arrange it for you. People there are incredibly nice and hospitable and super informative. They know what you need so you even don't need to ask. And the rooms are well designed for the guests' convenience then I feel like the owner must have been to many places and he/she knows what is comfortable for the guests. The bungalow we stayed was extremely private but at the same time we could ask anything we needed to the owner or staffs.(I guess the Thai guy who was working the whole time in the garden was the owner) They offered unlimited water which was extra and their breakfast was good.(not that big, huge, wasting food party) You can't swim in front of the bungalow during the low tide but we were okay with it. We are not dog-friendly people so the first night we couldn't sleep well because of dogs howling. But I think it wasn't their fault because I guess all dogs in that village howled together like in the movie. It was awesome to hear actually because I didn't know dogs could howl at the same time like wolves. But after the first day we slept without waking up by dogs barking or whatever and dogs in their garden were friendly. I think dogs in Koh muk are not aggressive. I needed to write about dogs and I had read some reviews like dogs barking before I went there and we were quite worried. But do not worry about dogs even if you are scared of dogs like us. You still could sleep well and walk everywhere even there are dogs. The bed is comfortable enough that makes you pass out. I highly recommend this place:)

The location is great. About 8 min walk from the pier along the coast but ask for a pick up if you have luggage as the pier is SO long and the path unsuitable for wheeled bags. The five rooms are beautiful and set around a very well kept garden with sea views. It is very quiet with no road noise although be prepared for sounds of nature such as crowing cockerels and the occasional dog. We were also lucky enough to see a fruit bat ( flying fox?), in the tree next to our room when we stayed. If you want to go to Charlie Beach, a tuk-tuk taxi costs 100 bath and can be organised through reception. There are always taxis there when you want to return.

The rooms at Inhale have large decks at the front with deckchairs which is a great place to stare at the sea with a cold beer or two from the fridge, or go to the shady outdoor bar, where Tu the owner will make you a cocktail. The bed was very comfortable and there was a mosquito net. The room was very clean and towels were changed daily. I loved the outside bathroom, which was full of greenery and very private. The shower always had hot water. The aircon was very efficient.

Breakfast was included with various choices, both western and Asian. Drinking water was provided for free in the room together with a choice of soft drinks and beer to buy. All of those who worked here seemed lovely but Ann and Tu both speak excellent English and can help you with what you need. Would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to Koh Muk, which I would love to do as it was so much nicer and more relaxing that Koh Lipe in my opinion.

Absolutely incredible stay on a beautiful island at truly unique accomodation. The service was perfect, incredibly attentive and always so friendly - not to mention the best breakfast in Thailand!

A nice, well-maintained part of Koh Mook. This is a great place to chill. The bungalows are classy and the staff are very friendly and speak English well. Breakfast, cocktails, and coffee are all very good. On the last day we were leaving early and they gave us our breakfast in boxes.

We hope to see you again one day!

Insanely great accommodation, we really enjoyed our stay. Most of all we liked that we had two very accommodating hosts Lisa and Tu who made all our wishes possible. From private snorkeling trips, to cab rides, to restaurant recommendations, to outstanding New Year's Eve dinner with 8 different traditional Thai dishes apart from Pad Thai - the Octopus in black ink was insane. If we ever come back to Thailand, the Inhale at Hill is definitely on our must-see list.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inhale@hill. The breakfast and coffee were awesome, the atmosphere is really nice and the owners helped us with everything we needed perfectly. They planed for us a snorkeling trip and kayaking to a stunning lagoon. We’re already looking forward to our next time at these bungalows. 100% recommendable! :)

What a phenomenal resort on a truly spectacular island.

I could discuss the wonderful, secluded location, extensive amenities, or good food options, however, by far the best perk of staying at Inhale is the hosts Tu and Lisa. My partner and I were fortunate enough to spend plenty of time with Tu who made our time at Koh Mook better than we could have possibly imagined.

He always accommodated even our most obscure requests, organised Taxis and an entire day-trip involving every conceivable attraction on Koh Mook and the surrounding islands, and had excellent local knowledge that ensured we ate the best food and explored as much as we could in our three short days on the island.

I highly recommend Inhale @ Hill to anyone venturing to the Southern islands of Thailand!

I don’t even know where to start. This was our best stay in Thailand. The villa’s where amazing. The owner told us he designed them himself and we where impressed by the details. There is literally nothing negative to mention, even if you try. From the locker on the door to the text that’s telling you not to flush your toilet paper. And I’m not even kidding.

The breakfast was delicious. A small a la carte menu to pick from which we personally liked more then the typical breakfast buffets in hotels.

We booked a snorkeling tour which brought us to two great snorkeling spots and the Emerald Cave. The tour offered is private and for a very good price compared to a snorkeling tour we booked in Koh Lanta that put us on a boat together with 30 others.

But best of all where the hosts. Ann was there during our stay and she was great. Tu, the owner is a great guy and fun to chat with. You can feel they truly care for their guests.

Koh Mook is a great place to stay for a few days and if you want to make that stay even better we definitely recommend staying at Inhale @Hill.

We really struggle to find the right words for this amazing hotel.
It was a pleasure staying over new year in this super beautiful place.
Lisa was the best host we experienced so far (not only in Thailand). She and Tu actually made us feel more than welcome. They made us feel home.
By the way if you have the chance, try some traditional dish cooked by the master chef Tu ;-). He created a perfect menu for us for New Year’s Eve with different traditional southern Thai dishes. Further he is a very good guide if you have any questions about the island or the sea.

The bathroom is behind the bungalow, who does not want to take a refreshing shower while watching the stars?!
For us so far the best place to forget the daily rush and just relax.

We were lucky to spend the new year at this hotel. Let's sum up why it was amazing:

Rooms - Designed like a 5 star room, 100 % beautiful, every detail was planned thoroughly. Even sitting on the toilet in the outdoor bathroom is a pleasure.

Food - Finally a breakfast without buffet! Less options, but more quality. European style or Thai, it's your choice. If you are still craving for your breakfast sausage you can get it as well, no worries. It's not mandatory though :) But the highlight are the Southern Thai meals cooked by Tu. You need to reserve it a day ahead, but it's well worth it to discover dishes you won't find in your average Thairestaurant. Ah yeah, also the white wine and coffee was good.

Hosts - Are super nice and want to make sure you have a perfect stay but stay as they are. I've never been a fan of artificial friendliness that you get in the better hotels in Thailand. Here it felt truly genuine, like a homestay with friends. They put their heart in this place and you can feel it.

We really had a great time at Inhale and would return at anytime.

Inhale was such a perfect find. First of all, Koh Mook is lovely. It's a perfect place to relax and snorkle for a few days. The owners helped us organize transportation to and from the Trang Airport and told us everything that they love to do and eat on the island.

The rooms themselves were lovely. There was a comfortable bed with a mosquito net, a closet and sink inside, and the rest of the bathroom was beautifully done outside with plenty of privacy. The owners also lit the mosquito repellent candles at night in the room which helped a ton.

Breakfast was included and you had the option of a "standard" breakfast or Thai breakfast. I had both. They were equally delicious!

This was definitely the perfect place to unwind and relax for a few days!

Amazing place on Koh Mook. The room are really good and the private shower outside is a must have !
The place handle everything for you like taxi, boat tickets, scooter rent, thai boat visit to koh kradan and emerald cave. They have really good people they work with for all that sort of things.
The owner Lisa and To are so nice you'll feel at home in this resting and very well design place.
If you go there, ask for the special dinner, which is made of Thai speciality and fresh fish and sea food from the fishermen of the island. To cooked it and he's an amazing chef !

We had the most wonderful time here, the place is managed by Lisa and her Tuo who are great hosts. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it.

The place was butifully designed and built to the smallest details by Tue who's an architect.

We are recommending to take the lovely breakfast. It was a great way to start our days.

The island is super intimate. We are recommending on renting a motorbike and driving around. 7 minutes drive is Charly Beach on the south side of the island. It is one of the most beautiful beaches we have been in Thailand. From there you can rent a kayak and pedal 20 min to the amazing Emerald Cave.

The couple is super helpful in arranging any experiences
this area has to offer.

Stunning place where love for details is all around. Beautifully furnished and decorated bungalows, delicious breakfast and amazing hosts ☺. I had a medical issue during our stay and Lisa and her husband were extremely helpful and even organised a trip to the local hospital for me and helped translating.

We’ve booked 3 nights at Inhale and we couldn’t wish for any better. During our 16 days trip in Thailand this was our most comfortable stay.

Gorgeous well designed bungalows with all amenities available and the most comfortable bed you could wish for. Delicious breakfast was provided to start your day with.
