Koh Mook De Tara Beach Resort

Really nice place! Only drawback is that the beach is not very good for swimming due to the tide.
Located very close to the “city centre” (he he) but still calm and quiet. Nice family rooms with double bed and bunk bed. Room was modern and well equipped with silent air condition and lots of power outlets. Amazing sea view from the little restaurant. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. And the sign at the very anonymous entrance is true - the bartender “Ninja” really do makes the best margaritas.

Wonderful 4 night stay. The breakfasts were huge and they were able to make adjustments to make them vegetarian. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and we can’t wait to come back.

It was amazing experience for us! Me and my husband were in honeymoon in this hotel, rooms are loft style and just in front of you there is nicest beach of the island. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in our balcony while we having our drinks. 🥰
Thanks a lot again receptionists for helping us about literally anything we could ask for. They helped about motorbike & kayak renting and genuinely friendly to us.

We stayed here as a treat for valentines’s and it was just superb.

There’s a little jacuzzi/ pool on the balcony (only 1 jet worked though), water is a bit cold though and there isn’t that much privacy as it’s right next to the hotel’s dining area, but the view was to die for and we made use of their happy hour, which was buy two cocktails and get one free- needless to say the water didn’t feel cold after that anymore 😄

Breakfast was 10/10!!!!
DEFINITELY get their breakfast its 100% worth the extra 200baht- u’d spend a lot more ordering off the menu.

Very nice place. We had a ground floor room with small pool on the balcony. Everything was in good condition.

The breakfast is huge and delicious. Dinner was also great. Deep fried shrimps in curry and the crunchy som tam were a good extension to our daily som tam addiction.

The staff were very attentive and helped us with every question and tips.

The “Main Street” is just a couple of minutes by foot so you have all kinds of restaurants, shops and the atm in reach.

We had a great stay overall! It’s quite new, clean and comes with AC, WiFi, small fridge and TV in case you’ll need these amenities besides the fact that it’s located right at the beach.

The main road with most of the restaurants and shops is also just 100m away. The pier is also within 5min walking distance.

A good centrally located place overall and a really good price value relationship for the time we went in November 2022.

Absolutely loved our stay here. We opted for a deluxe room with sea view. The room was exactly as pictured on other sites so we were pleasantly surprised. The air conditioning was super effective and cooled the room down perfectly on the hot summer days. While you can't directly see the sunset, the sky still looks pretty as it is going down. The room was clean and the room was quiet so we were able to sleep in. Breakfast is included so we were able to walk right downstairs to each each morning on the beach. I would highly recommend coming here.

Good view and service. The room has 2 type are tent and room.The resort near the sea but you should check tidal flow.The breakfast is buffet but you have to order by order , the staff can communication in English language.If you come here before 11.30 am, you can take the boat on the front of the resort , but if you come here after that you must take the boat at harbor and take the bicycles (from local people) for come here.In the night , view very beautiful.

Came here for lunch, we were not disappointed. Had the chicken satay (satay koi), red curry (gang panang), and papaya salad. The food was delicious, flavours in every bite. Margarita, although good, was strong to say the least! Haha
Staff and service was friendly. Clean place and good location.

Only had dinner but the massaman curry was incredible and i've lived in thailand for 6 years. Note that specific dish needs to be ordered an hour in advance

Just had dinner there, good good and good. Thaifood as it has to be. No Ialian or German owner, just thai and you can tast that. Nice crew, nice place and good food and normal price!!!

Great staff and excellent food and drinks. Laundry service saved us and a banana smoothie with SangSom was perfect.
