Paradise Lost Bungalows

Very nice place to stay - much nicer than some reviews and photos on internet suggest - in a magical clearing in the middle of the tropical forest, about a five-minute walk from the pier at the main beach. We had a well-maintained wooden bungalow with a spacious, spotlessly clean private bathroom (with stone walls). Don't expect luxury, but all the necessary things for a comfortable but basic stay are available. It is clear to see that the owners have paid a lot of attention to the design of the room: a cheerful-looking, tight-fitting mosquito net over the four-poster bed, reading lamps, yes even shelves on either side, fresh-smelling sheets, table and chairs on the balcony and plenty of sockets in the bungalow. All just perfect. And with the beautiful sounds of the jungle all around us - especially in the early morning - we really felt like we were in paradise.

Lost Paradise is a pleasant little property: only 10-12 bungalows, most with private bathroom/toilet and just a few with shared facilities (also in good condition). It is well managed and looked after by a very sympathetic Italian-Thai family. Everyone is genuinely friendly and helpful. Big bonus is the somewhat strangely named Sunset restaurant on the same premises, which definitely offers the best affordable food on the whole (quite expensive) island.

Easy-to-follow forest trails lead from the back of the resort to romantic Sunset Beach (5 minutes' walk) and beautiful Ao Nieng Beach (20 minutes' walk). The latter offers great snorkeling with many colorful fish and living coral. Lost Paradise rents good snorkeling gear for a negligible fee. Staff can inform you about the best tide.

We had an unforgettable five days and hope to come back someday in the future.

Staying at Paradise lost is like being at home: you are warmly welcome by Gianni, his family and staff that will take care of all your needs.
The location is pretty unique: a few cottages in the middle of the jungle. We had a spacious and clean cottage, woke up with the sounds of the bird like in a peaceful nest.
You walk 5 min towards east and you are in the top rated Kradan beach. While 10min west you are in the most beautiful “sunset beach”.
My husband and I ate there all our meals: the food is freshly made by the well experience Gianni’s wife. I am vegan and I had several options, from tofu pad thai to massaman and penang curry. You can clearly feel more than 30 years in the hospitality sector, Gianni and his sons delighted they know exactly how to make you feel at home.

Primitive rooms but the best and kindest service and resonable priced. Very good food and the owner speaks excelent english. Very reccomended if you want basic but good acomodation and kindest service on a paradice island.

The place is located in the middle of the island and that allows you to reach easly more quiete and less crowded beaches. Bungalows and restaurant are very well camouflaged in the jungle, but still clean and well made. Restaurant serves thai and italian food, so you also have different choices. Staff was amazing with me, they allowed me to stay couple of day more even if they officialy had to close the resort due to regulations in Thailand (in natural resort you can’t sleep from 1 may to 1 November), so they are really frandly and i felt like at home.
Last but not least, owner is the only one selling weed (home production) on the island

A wonderful place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, great quality food and central location. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a Island - Jungle paradise, this is the best place in Thailand to do so. The island has amazing coral reefs, and very little distractions to keep you from enjoying your time on Koh Kradan.

The place is really beautiful, with very good location, near several of the beaches.

Siamo stati purtroppo soltanto una notte, ma è bastato per farci innamorare della tranquillità di Paradise Lost. L’isola è veramente fantastica e i bungalow sono connessi benissimo con sentieri immersi nella natura a tutte le spiagge.

L’accoglienza dei proprietari è l’aspetto che ci ha colpito di più grazie alle spiegazioni sulle varie location dell’isola, la disponibilità nell’ organizzarci i trasporti con le altre isole e il tocco italiano nella cucina tipica!

Assolutamente consigliato e da tornare!

Luogo incantevole, nel mezzo di una stupenda e tranquilla isoletta, collegata con tutte le spiagge attraverso percorsi a piedi immersi nella natura.
Il personale e tutta la famiglia gentilissimi e molto disponibili, anche a organizzare spostamenti con le altre isole. Stanze comode e tipiche. Cucina meravigliosa con un tocco italiano. È un luogo dove ci si sente a casa.

Bungalow nella giungla ben tenuti, puliti, zanzariere e bagno enorme con acqua fresca ed abbondante. Corrente sempre presente (no dalle 7 alle 8). Bella accoglienza e cibo ottimo. Le tre Spiagge raggiungibili principali raggiungili a piedi dai 5 ai 20 minuti con sentiero all’ombra.

Purtroppo non ho soggiorno in questa struttura. Ma ho avuto il piacere di conoscere il proprio, un signore italiano gentile e cordiale. I suoi bungalow sono immersi nella foresta, lontano dagli altri resort , questo ti permette di fare una vacanza rilassante. Percorrendo un sentiero in mezzo alla foresta (10 minuti) arrivi ad una spiaggia segreta e isolata. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura. Un caro saluto a Lei al figlio Mix e al suo cagnolino Marco

Magischer Ort mitten im Dschungel. Tolle Geräuschkulisse und Ruhe vom Alltag. Keine nervigen Pauschaltouris. Hätten wir besser mal mehr als eine Nacht gebucht. Klare Empfehlung!

Charmant endroit, rapport qualité prix excellent. Repas divers et variés, et surtout une hôtesse exceptionnelle, parlant un très bon anglais, donnant toutes les informations utiles aux clients dès leur arrivée, d une grande bienveillance.

Schöne Bungalows mitten im Dschungel ohne großen SchnickSchnack aber mit allem was man braucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nach einem Regenschauer fanden wir hier spontan ein Dach über dem Kopf und schauten uns gleich die Bungalows an. Wir werden wiederkommen 👍

Tolles Restaurant, feines essen und sehr freundlich. Der Junge ist grossartig!
