Mook Montra Resort Sea Front

Great escape island with beautiful beach and the islands' people so nice and friendly.
Resort has good view and spacious room. Owner and staff are always helpful. Near islands' center and there are plenty of activities for you to explore.

I spent 2 nights with a tent room, the room is comfortable (AC, fridge) with nice cottage style. The location is nearby the pier with sea view. All staffs are friendly and keen to help as you need. Not only the staff here, but also locals are super nice to tourist. Highly recommend to spend your time on Koh Mook. I love the vibe of this island and will be back for sure.

The overall impression is really good! The location of the resort is perfect. The bungalow and the area around is very green and pretty. The stuff is very helpful and friendly. The dogs and cats in the area are a charming bonus! The room is clean and hot water in the shower was always available. The blanket was a bit strange and we had some trouble sleeping with it. A few small things like the outside bench and the bathroom hangers could use some maintenance.

Mook Montra Resort is a great place to stay in Koh Muk . Kritt, the owner, is very helpful. He picked us up from the pier on the day when we arrived . He also gave us a lift back from Charlie Beach late in the evening. He is always around and ready to help . He looks after his guest very well. He makes sure all his guests get to the pier on time to catch the ferry by offering to take them to the pier, using his taxis. Room cleaning services are available all the time . Shops and eateries are all within walking distance from the hotel . We stayed in the family chalet which is a tree house with outdoor sitting area . Very private. Would certainly recommend the family chalet to families. Overall, Mook Montra is definitely to place to stay in Koh Muk. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mook Montra Resort. The bungalow was lovely and bathrooms are very spacious. The hammocks outside were a perfect way to unwind in a beautiful setting. We were able to rent a scooter across the road from the hotel, and good luck restaurant had delicious pancakes for breakfast if it's not included in your stay. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Mook Montra Resort. Kritt was always there to help with everything. It was so refreshing to be looked after by a hotel owner direct that genuinely cares about his guests. The resort has a lot of charm and the bathroom, shower and overall room was very clean! We especially liked the breakfast being delivered each morning. Thank you so much for such a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay at Mook Montra. The bungalows are very nice and clean, hot water and air con always available and the terace hammock is perfect for reading and relaxing. Also, hot water, tea and coffee at reception. Kritt is a great host, helpfull and nice.
The proximity to the city center and the pier is also a plus.
We will definitely return.

We were 11 days in Koh Mook in the Mook Montra Resort and it was a great familiar experience. From the beginning Kritt, Go, the cleaning team, everyone was so nice! Always a smile, always ready to help, paying attention, making our stay perfect. They helped us booking trips, solving questions or suggesting restaurants or things to so in the island.
Rooms were clean, there's coffee and teas anytime, the breakfast is authentically Thai and the garden is a dream full of big butterflies.
We could have a great view of the garden and the sea from the balcony of our bungalow and could relax every evening there.
The only downside is that the beach in front of the Hotel is not really a beach, so you can just refresh your feet there and have the amazing view of the coast of the Trang Province. The Sivalai beach is 5 minutes away walking, so not a problem though.
If we go again to Koh Mook, we'll definitely repeat it here!

Clean rooms and a beautiful garden. They have little hammocks on each front porch to relax in. The staff and especially the owner are super friendly and helpful. I forgot a charging cable and he organised it to be shipped to Koh Lipe for me. Big recommendation.

Clean and cute Bungalows with super helpful and friendly staff. Kritt and his colleagues went out of their way to make sure we have a good time. Even a small mishap by the hotel was resolved in a very uncomplicated and generous manner.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and from the very moment we arrived we felt like we were at home. The staff were all super friendly. One of my bags was delayed on a flight and the owner was very helpful in tracking it down and delivering it to my room. The accommodation is fairly basic but we were happy for the price we paid. Located a short walk from the main shops and restaurants of the island and they offer free cycles on a first come first serve basis.

The owners are so lovely and really looking after all your needs. They absolutely make sure that everything is all right and you are feeling comfortable during the stay. The rooms are clean and there is a good room service. The owner helped to organize a tour with other guest's staying in the same resort so we got on a trip with just 6 people - that was a really nice tour! Without been asked we wouldn't have done it.

Very happy that we had chosen to stay at Mook Montra Resort. We were so relaxing. The room was perfect and very clean. Local breakfast was good and amazing. Owner had arranged very good, memorable boat trip for us. We, definitely, will come back.

We easily decided to extend our stay here. It was what I'd been hoping for when leaving Melbourne winter behind. It suits a budget yet provides quite a luxurious experience. The staff and Kritt and his family were exceptionally helpful. I've included a pic of a dog I called Sweetie who also made my stay so enjoyable. She's an island dog which is a nice word for a stray, of which there are many. It was hard to see some of them in such bad condition. If you come across Sweetie or other dogs please extend some love and care ( and some food...the PK MINIMART sells dog biscuits). Being mans best friend you will be rewarded with a smile, a cuddle and a chill out together. I have asked the staff to keep an eye on Sweetie. I wish I could adopt her. The cats are also very friendly, just like the Thai people. The other pic is of the captain's on our sea venture to the Emerald Cave which Kritt organised. Thank you Kritt, Go the facilitator and all the amazing staff for a superb stay and a warm, relaxed family atmosphere. We made some great friends also with the other guests.

We booked Mook Montra since Mar, 2022, however couldn't come due to one of us got Covid. Khun Kritt returned full amount. Finally, we came in October. Khun Kritt arranged us a taxi from airport and a boat to koh mook. Also a boat to the cave and koh kradan. So appreciate the services offered. Really recommend this place. I will definitely come back.
By the way, surprisingly, there are lots of good restaurants on koh mook, especially, the price was very reasonable.

Love the environment and high hospitality. We feel very warm welcome right at the moment we enter the resort. Staffs are remarkably helpful. We stayed 3 nights and wanted to continue. We surely come back. Thanks everyone for a good stays here,

this hotel was beautifully located right on the water and near the main town. the staff were exceptionally helpful, with Kritt helping us organise transfers to and from trang as well as boats and anything else we needed. could not recommend this place enough!

The owner was very gentle and friendly although he was in Bangkok but he helped us by phone booked private boat for us and give us nice room with kids bed as well ❤

Staying in a white tent facing sea view, it was lovely. Hearing seawave during the night was so natural. Room was very private and comfortable. The place is super clean. Rooms rate was reasonably cheap. Really Worth our stay.
