Italiano Bar & Restaurant Koh Kradan

Very nice service and quiet good Italian food. Of course it was expensive but considering it’s an island with no port, the prices are reasonable.
They import most of their ingredients from Italy .
The staff was always friendly and polite and the manager is doing a good job.
Drinks are a little bit more expensive compared to other resorts on the island.

I was surprised to see an Italian restaurant of this calibre on such a remotely populated Island, but so glad to have found it. Bread and pizza dough made on site, good wine selection. Dined there 5 nights in a row. Pizza, pasta and fish all good. Huge serving size for the gnocchi. Attentive waiting staff. Prices are cheaper than expected given the remote location but no credit cards.

Really good food, both of us had an pizza and it was by far the best we ever had in Thailand (my boyfriend says it's better than the pizzas we had in Italy).
Really nice and friendly staff, especially Michael. Felt very welcome.

The food was delicious. We tasted great tuna carpaccio, spaghetti with tuna, roasted potatoes. The prices seemed pretty high but the portions were enormous. All dishes are good for sharing! also vegetarians will enjoy.

The best pizza and pasta we had in Thailand, real Italian ingredients, for a seafront location in a remote island half way across the globe, we are indeed very spoilt. We ordered carbonara, they use real pancetta not bacon! It's just that you need to pour and mix the cheese yourself into the pasta (so we guessed the previous bad review about carbonara were written by someone who didn't know to add the pocorino cheese into warm pasta with raw egg yorg mixed). For pizza, we ordered Hawaiian pizza with feta cheese and spicy salami extra toppings, initially the waitress thought it was margarita pizza with those toppings but after explaining to her, she took back the 1st pizza and made us a new one, although her English is not very good but she tries. I suggest when you go to this restaurant, be nice to the staff and tell yourself that they are trying to do their best and be patient and you may have a better experience. Anyway, we loved our food and it costs 1200 baht for 2 ppl including Tiramisu, Espresso, affogato and a few soft drinks, yes it is definitely more expensive than most Thai restaurants in the mainland, but considering in a remote island, beachfront location, with authentic Italian ingredients, this is quite fair compared to what you'd pay in the Mediterranean.

Antonio is a true restaurateur. Wonderful food and very friendly and accommodating staff. We went for dinner here 2 times during our 5 day stay at Mali Resort located right next to it. The ravioli, pizzas, caprese, the wines its all very good.

Delicious overpriced pizza

Restaurant au top ! Patron et employés très très agréable et très gentil. Nous avons manger chaque midi chaque soir et nous nous lassons jamais de leur plat. Vous mangez les pieds dans le sable et en plus vous avez le droit à des proportions énormes donc excellent rapport qualité prix.

Nice surprise on such a tiny island! The pizzas tasted good and the pasta was well cooked. The location right on the beach is very nice! The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is that the staff was not very friendly the whole time.
