Koh Mook The Sun Great Resort

This was brilliant! Loved it here. It's in a perfect spot on the island, has a brilliant and big pool and the rooms are great - simple, but big and comfy. I went to the posh hotel on the island and the facilities are basically the same. This is far better and great value!

For a 2 star hotel this is 5 stars! The service here was excellent! They organized tour and transfers for us and they worked perfectly. The hotel is basic with a pool but that was what we expected. The hotel is a little far from the main area with restaurants but getting a taxi (tuk tuk) was so fast, easy and cheap (50 baht pp) that it really didn’t matter. Would definitely stay here again.

When you’re on the island seeing the emerald cave is a must do. Do yourself a favour and get there at 8am or earlier and you’ll have it to yourself before the tour groups get there. It’s really special. Also if you leave the cave before 9am the ranger isn’t there so you don’t pay the 200 baht fee (but you didn’t hear that from me 😉)

The lady on the front is very friendly and helpful.
We stayed here 1 night but could have spent more time, lovely island. Like the others have said, the location is slightly further but not a problem, they'll rent scooters and can help you get a tuktuk if needed.
We walked from the pier and it was about 25 min walk, if you're up for an exercise :) the rooms are very spacious, some improvements going around which is good to see. Swimming pool is amazing for swimming.

Everything fine, very friendly service, all wishes fullfilled, quiet surroundings, nice landsacape with seaview. Owner family is very friendly and always helpful. No direct swimming from off the beach but Charlie Beach is a 10 minutes walk :) My recommandations!

Manager and her staff are just fabulous. Everyone is so kind and helpful.
Transfer can be organized by the resort (from Trang Airport to the resort -​minivan, boat, taxi for 1600 baht for 4 people). Easiest contact is via facebook.
Resort​ is ideally located. Very quiet place. Of you get a beach view, you wake up with the sun and the view on the sea.

This beach is not good for swimming, nevertheless you can walk or use the free bicycle to go to charlie beach. (5 min) or Savalai. If you feel to lazy, staff can organized a local taxi for 50 baht (per way).

Rooms are prepared mornings and evenings and complimentary water filled up in the fridge every time.

Pool is nice and warm.
Staff sometimes ask if you wish to drink something (In my opinion, this should be done more often or with a menu near the pool).
Restaurant serves good food and drinks. Choice is not always available but there js enough choice to be satisfied.
Beakfast has choice between Thai version and continental.

We stayed 3 nightd and recommand this place if you need quiet time, and friendly and helpful staff. Bare in mind you can swim in the pool but not in the sea at this location, nevertheless, possibilities for other places are easy to reach.

Face à mer et le soleil couchant, en bout de jolie plage, l'emplacement est au top.
L'accueil est très agréable, tout comme le bungalow.. juste un petit problème de maintenance pour l'eau dans la salle de douche , peut-être transitoire

Chambres toutes neuves, propres, piscine a débordement.. sur une île ou les marrées vont et viennent, c’est un excellent choix pour se détendre !

Проживали с 08.01.23 двое суток, огромная забота со стороны персонала, чисто уютно. Место для вечера и поспать, пляжа нет, по этому подходит для тех кто собирается на разные экскурсии и тд, бассейн хороший, но днем тишину могут нарушать работы на против, но не каждый раз.

ห้องพักกว้างสะอาดค่ะเงียยเหมาะต่อการพักผ่อน อาหารเช้าฟรี การบริการ แบบครอบครัวอยากให้ทุกคนได้มาสำผัสค่ะชมพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นยามเช้าหน้ารีสรอทสระว่ายน้ำชมวิวทะเลได้เห็นพระจันทร์ขึ้นยามค่ำคืนรีสรอทยังคงความเป็นธรรมชาติค่ะ มีปู มีปลา มีกุ้ง มีกั้งตัวสีส้ม เวลาน้ำทะเลไหลเข้ามาบริเวณห้องพัก อยากให้ทุกคนได้มาศพผัว ธรรมชาติ ค่ะ เกาะมุกด์เดอะซันเกรทรีสรอท จ.ตรัง เที่ยวทะเลตรัง มีเรือนำเที่ยว มีเรือ รับ ส่ง ค่ะ ที่สำคัญมีแอร์ทุกห้องพักทุกราคา มีน้ำอุ่นให้อาบ ในห้องพักมี กระติกน้ำร้อน ชา กาแฟ น้ำดื่ม มีตู้เย็น ค่ะ

สถานที่จริงบรรยากาศดีกว่าในรูปเยอะมาก เรื่องบริการดีเยี่ยม ของอะไรก็จัดให้ได้ตลอด อาหารเช้าให้เยอะ นี่กินไม่หมด ในราคาที่ไปพัก ถือว่าคุ้มค่ามากๆครับ
