MOOKLAMAI RESORT AND SPA

We were warmly welcomed and were extensively informed about the excursion possibilities on the island.
The resort is superbly located, with complimentary bicycles available, making it easy to reach the island's beaches or the town within minutes. Additionally, there is the option to arrange transportation with the resort's own shuttle service to anywhere on the island. However, the return trip must be organized and paid for independently.
The room was superbly beautiful, spacious, and very clean.
There was a great selection for breakfast, and modifications due to different dietary preferences were not a problem at all.
The pool was a highlight for our son, especially in the evenings when it was illuminated.
We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

I stayed 4 nights with friends, and we had a fantastic time. The service level at this hotel is amazing! The host was so accommodating and helpful in guiding us on trips and outings and helping us to book transfer to the airport. In addition, the hotel offers free shuttles with tuktuks from the hotel wherever on the island, whenever you want to go. We stayed in one of the villas with private pool (quite small, but with jacuzzi!), and the room/villa was perfect. Clean, spacious, comfortable and with everything we needed. Also with complimentary water and sodas, which was refilled every day. The common pool area was also nice, with comfortable sun loungers, and the entire area of the hotel was extremely well kept and nice. Breakfast was cooked to order, and the restaurant to the hotel had great food as well. So all in all can only give my warmest recommendations.

This Hotel is highly recommended! The staff is super super friendly and has always a solution for any problem. The rooms are cute and very clean. They have bikes and a free tuktuk service from 7 to 7 so you can reach any beach in a couple of minutes. Right in front of the hotel is a very good pizza place that belongs to the resort. We will definitely come back.

This place was heaven. The room was incredible with a private little pool on the roof top. The hotel's main pool was also lovely with plenty of loungers. Fantastic breakfast and amazing staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Take me back!!

What an amazing hotel, just book it and you won’t be disappointed.

The staff and manager and not only super helpful with anything you require they are also so so friendly it feels like staying with friends.

The villa with rooftop pool was luxurious and modern. Housekeeping was brilliant and the complimentary mini bar was very much appreciated. The amazing birds we saw whilst sitting in the tree tops was another huge bonus. There also seemed to be less mosquitoes than other islands.

The hotel is in a perfect location for everything. A short walk to the town or Charlie beach as well as all the lovely restaurants. The hotel offers a complimentary tuk tuk to anywhere in the island which was super helpful and they have complimentary push bikes which we took advantage of several times and is a great way to get around and explore.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and we had dinner at the restaurant one evening which offers some of the best pizza in Thailand as well as brilliant Thai dishes and top quality cocktails as well as a nice red wine.

I can’t fault anything about the hotel, we were very sad to leave and would return in a heartbeat. Sad to have only stayed for 5 days. The hotel arranged transportation back to Trang Airport was faultless as well as relaxing.

Close to the hotel are shops and street food vendors as well as a very good massage establishment. There are a lot of stray dogs on the island and there are a few around the hotel but they are very friendly as well as easily dismissed with a clap of the hands so please don’t not let that put you off as it really is no trouble at all and not a negative.

Thank you to all of the staff, especially the manager and the very lovely lady who checked us in and worked tirelessly in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, we miss your huge smile every day. We really hope to return and stay longer in the future. Koh Mook has some of the best food on offer in Thailand as well as some of the nicest people we’ve met.

Such an amazing resort.
The director and all the staff are extra kind, always ready to help with any issue and give the best info about the island.
There’s a wide variety of breakfast choices, really good coffee (also with coconut milk) and a very good restaurant.
The manager gave us special info to go hiking, visit the Emerald Cave with no people at all and arranging all the transfers with great organization.
The resort offers a free drop service all day round to any point of the island. This makes really easy and comfortable to move around.
At a short walk distance, there’s a small local village where you can buy anything you may need or enjoy local food or a thai massage or reach any of the beaches.
Extra good value for money experience.
After our long stay here, for sure, this will be again my choice when coming back to Koh Mook.

Heaven on Earth! Beautiful clean rooms with everything you need on vacation. Kudos to the manager! He is super kind, caring and helps with transport to other island. Staff always smiling, we felt really welcomed here. I wish, some day we can come back again to Koh Mook and it will still be the same calm place :)

Great location right in the middle between the two beaches, and they offer free transportation around the island.
Rooms are high standard, outdoor shower and the right amount of privacy.
Staff is super friendly, helpful and fun. Restaurant has great food and drinks. We loved our stay there.

I highly recommend this place. We stayed here for 5 nights and the entire experience was simply amazing. Utid, the manager and all other staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing was too much. The resort picked us up and dropped us off at any location on the island during our stay. If you are looking for a great island with a good variety of restaurants and shops and super friendly people but which is not overrun by tourists then go to Koh Mook.
It’s easy to get there by boat from Phuket or you can take a long tail boat from the Kuan Tung Ku Pier.

We stayed here for 5 wonderful nights, everything was just superb.

Super friendly staff, family-owned business which core is providing very personal service. They help and advise when having any question. Definitely ask the staff for tips when planning day-trips on Koh Mook, nearby islands or airport transfers, they have very good recommendations and everything is possible!

Koh Mook as an island is the perfect base to visit this area. Beautiful secluded beaches, hiking opportunities with good viewpoints and in comparison with Koh Kradan & Koh Ngai a lot of facilities.

Resort itself is beautiful, very spacious, good location with a lot of nearby restaurants in walking distance on the east-coast, free callable taxi-service between 7am-7pm. Going here was the best decision we could have made, highly recommend!!

Simply amazing resort
Nice room, great pool. Good food at the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious with some sweet sticky rice. The best thing, however, was the resort staff. Very friendly and helpful. They brought us everywhere on the island and arranged us the boat back to the continent. Bicycle free of charge to visit the island. I would resume the greatness of this place by quoting the manager who replied "whenever you want" when I asked for the check out time. Highly recommended!!!

This hotel is a very good and beautiful place. I stayed there with my man and we both were super pleased. The service staff is so kind and nice. As well as the mister (I forgot his name :/) boss who runs this hotel. He is the kindest man I met. He takes time for your questions from early morning time until midnight. Does he even sleep? My man lost his glasses and the hotel boss was driving me across the island and we found his expensive glasses again!! I really miss this place and hope the staff and their families are great. Hope to come back again. And I miss Latte, the white small dog that belongs to his daughter :) the food is just great there and the boss is not afraid to gejt you fresh coconut from the palm-tree!! The spa is also very good. Love the hotel!!

Such an incredible place to stay. From the first to the very last minute of our stay, they provided a consistent level of attentive, caring service. Sooooo glad we stayed a week here and just took day trips to other places. The people, the place, the pool, all perfect. Can not imagine staying anywhere else should we be lucky enough to come back to Thailand in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

The Mook Lamai is not on the beach but rather, near the center of the island. It's a short 5 minute ride (by motorcycle sidecar) to either side of the island (Charlie Beach to the south or the "town" and pier to the north). The rooms are spartan but clean and functional. The pool area is beautiful, as are the grounds, including a garden that provides fruits, vegetables and herbs to the restaurant. It is very quiet, especially if you request a room further away from the street.

The service is second to none. I arrived to Ko Muk already sick but the staff pretty much nursed me back, including food and room services. They promptly hailed the island taxis and referred us to quality guides. There are free bikes to use. Would definitely recommend this hotel and this remote paradise!

I highly recommend you visit Koh Mook. It’s a wonderfully authentic island that’s not filled with tourists.

This definitely seems like the best place to stay on the island.
The grounds are fantastic, filled with fruit trees, a wonderful pool and modern rooms.
The staff were beyond kind and helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

It's the atmosphere and staff that brings Mook Lamai to the next level and differentiate their offering. The hospitality is in a league of its own with an attention to details not seen before.
The resort is nice and clean and the adjacent restaurant is very nice. Breakfast served every morning and made-to-order.
The resort is located a few minutes from the beach. The resort offers free tuk-tuck transport and free bike rental to get around the island.
This is without any doubt the best visit on our 4-week Thailand trip.

Wish I could grant 6 stars; Autid is the best host ever seen in Thailand, that man is an ANGEL! He brings customers places with his tuktuks for free, is happy to help, share insights on Thai culture and more; he even invited us to pick up and open coconuts from his garden, made us taste spicier thai food, enjoyed the sunset with us; the whole stuff is VERY helpful indeed. Rooms are okay with the average facilities, good prices and very tasty restaurant and breakfast. Lots of plants, kittens and exotic animals to be seen around. Best place so far in Thailand.

Beautiful calm and peaceful resort. Friendly and helpful staff. Chalet close to the jungle with private pool, unique design, outdoor shower, very clean and high level of hospitality. Outstanding experience.
