Royal River Khwae Resort

Nice resort, we were greeted with good service for the entire stay. The room and area are spacious. The dinner restaurant has good view, delicious food with reasonable price.

Only here for 1 night, but very nice hotel. Nice rooms, great breakfast buffet, very nice pool area. And had a lovely dinner.

A nice resort along the river. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Flip flops and beach towels in the room. The pool was beautiful and warm. We ate dinner river side, it was quite charming. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.

I love this resort! Many trees to keep the air cool. It has a very nice swimming pool. The restaurant by the river is a highlight for me. I really enjoyed having green curry while enjoying the river view. The rain almost ruined my dinner but fortunately I have finished most of my dinner. The waiters were very helpful not only to me but other guests as well when the rain came. They helped us to carry all our belonging inside. The hotel also offers very affordable SPA experience. If you never experience a Thai massage before, then you should try it here so you can taste it whether you like or not without spending too much money. I like that this resort is quite away from the city centre. It forces you to relax and enjoy the hospitality. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, clean hotel . Property is big with plenty of places to sit and watch the river. breakfast had good variety.

Wowwww!!!! It’s amazing place to relax and enjoy my quiet vacation. The room doesn’t meet the world’s standard like Marriott or Hilton as it’s a local owned hotel but the whole resort, pool, atmosphere, and breakfast are beyond than 5 stars hotel. We enjoyed our vacation here very much, spent time at the pool, enjoyed food at a river side restaurant. We had an amazing experience in here. Also, staffs are very polite and super helpful.

The Royal River Khwae Resort is such a little gem in Kanchanaburi. It has a great massage service and excellent riveraide dining. The service spoke volumes about employee experience. Great for families and corporate gatherings as the venue space is large and can host those type of events.

Breakfast is very good and tasty!

You can eat at the evening in the restaurant of this hotel but you will need to take a taxi (not by foot) if you prefer to eat somewhere else.

No needed to let a deposit at the reception.

Lovely resort, tranquil, well maintained gardens and lovely Riverside location. The pool is great and a good length to actually swim, however it does get deep quickly for kids or non swimmers. The rooms are lovely and comfy and decorated nicely in traditional style. The restaurant was good for dinner (a bit pricy though, but expected) and breakfast was good too

This place is lovely. Huge property with manicured gardens and massive pool. Located next to river and very private.

The resort is in immaculate condition. Owners have done an exceptional job maintaining property in top condition. Staff and service are equally good.

This is an older property but very charming and great value. Would come again.

Wonderful stay of 3 days. Nothing to complain of at all. Our room was neat, clean and odour free. The swimming pool was gorgeous. The staff were warm and very polite at all times. I even met a gardener staff who was a big cat lover just like me and we chatted a lot about cats!

Amazing, very good service and better garden

Unfortunately I arrived late in the hotel and I had booked only for one night. I could not enjoy the facilities or even see them since I had to follow the group I was travelling with.
My room was very big with huge comfortable bed.The bathroom was nice as well, all was very clean and the staff very nice and gentle.
I had a short ( late ) swim in the beautiful pool with nice trees hanging over the water. Before leaving the hotel early morning I wanted to see the river and what I saw was awesome ! Nice terrace and tables with great
view over the river, pity I had to leave.

Classy yet old-style resort. The rooms are cool, covered with timber claddings. The roof is layered with tiles to look just like classic. The environment is peaceful (except for the fact that we are noisy). Their staff are great and hospitable (should be). The function hall is huge and the stage, I like the stage, made with timber.

A beautiful, green and peaceful place that we will certainly return to again. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were comfortable.

An absolutely excellent resort on the river. Rooms are wonderful, resort is immaculately maintained. Breakfast is one of the best I have ever had in Thailand. We keep coming back here, genuinely such incredible quality for the price!

This is a really beautifully layed out resort with very friendly and helpful staff. The main staff communicate very well in English. The resort is on the River Kwai and is very peaceful, however this may change if the resort is full.

The rooms are spacious very well maintained and each has a balcony that overlooks the wonderful gardens. The rooms also have a television, refrigerator, air conditioning and a limited mini-bar.

There are numerous pavilions on the river bank in which you can sit and relax whilst watching the river flow past. There is also a large swimming pool in which to cool down and relax.

There is a restaurant with a good range of Asian and western food, however it is all at "tourist prices". The staff tend to hover around behind you to provide good service - some people, like me, may not fully appreciate this. There is also a bar which is reasonably well stocked but again quite expensive.

Love it here. This place is nice and quiet. The room mainly decorate in wood. The restaurant is amazing. Food and view made our dinner even better! And coconut smoothie is surprisingly wonderful. Will definitely come back.
