The Campster-Kanchanaburi

I stayed at The Campster for a night and was amazed by the beauty and serenity of the place. One of the highlights of my stay was the cute resident dogs, they were friendly and well behaved. The dogs were so adorable and kept us company while having mookata and breakfast.

The location also has a scenic views of river kwai. The rooms were clean and air-conditioned with a comfortable bed. It’s highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing and cozy getaway at Kanchanaburi.

Beautiful site with many instagramable spots. We stayed here 3 nights. Staff were very friendly and customer service was amazing. Staff attend to every need (carried luggage to room and to car, offered plates and cutlery when we brought back food, deliver breakfast and meals to rooms, etc.) Owner/manager is very friendly and attentive. (Please tip staff if you can, they deserve it).
The site is around 20 minutes from popular restaurants and tourist activities in the area.
There is a restaurant menu to order from, lots of Thai dishes but also farang dish such as pasta and steak. Can eat near reception or in front of room, staff will deliver. Very child friendly, there is kayaking available as well as jetski hire and they light a fire around 7pm to do marshmallow roasting. They is a stray dog that the neighbours take care of, very friendly and calm, will come visit guests at night.
Overall, amazing stay, will definitely come back again next time 😊.

I is a wonderful travel experience to us first time try stay on campervan and camping tents.

Mokata dinner is recommended to having during dinner time.

My stay at this hotel (camping style) was truly unforgettable. The room with a Dome was a great choice, as the bed was incredibly comfortable. The resort offered stunning views and was beautifully decorated, always kept clean and well-maintained, which added to our overall enjoyment. The staff were outstanding, providing exceptional service with a lot of attention to detail, which made our stay even more special. There were also many activities available to enjoy. However, it's important to note that this is not a luxury hotel in the city, nor is it a luxury resort. Rather, it is a unique camping experience that provides a natural atmosphere that you will never forget. Overall, it was a great and memorable experience.

Thank you for the hospitality! The staff are all very helpful, making sure we are all good, they even offered us a bluetooth speaker without us asking when they saw us using our mobile phone speaker for music during our dinner. Breakfast was good too. We enjoyed our stay! My son wants to visit again so we will be back! :)

Kanchanaburi is outskit of Bangkok, around 3 hr drive. The Campster @ Kanchanaburi , the calmness and relaxing atmosphere offers a relax and really nice environment to chill and relax.

We stayed 2 nights at different room type.- one night is campervan, one night is 2 rooms tents. Bed are comfortable. it was an pleasant stay for our family (2 adult and 2 young kids- below 8 years old) . the. Love the river scenary, dinner under the stars , breakfast is very nice too. We can choose to eat outside our tent or in the resturant .
can order dinner from the resturant from menu of bbq / mookata / thai or westen food.

Facilities inside the campervan and tent need some maintenance. the cupboard in the campervan cannot be closed tight and the toilet door in the 2 rooms tent in spoil , cannot close it.

My kids not like the campervan, as the flying light flies and ants coming inside the van.

The 2 rooms tent is big space and nice .

There was camp fire every night where kids will bbq marshmallows / chocolate/ biscuit provided and not forgetting the sparkle sticks.

My kids love the staffs .. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and nice.

Thank you for the complimentary birthday deco and cake for my boy birthday.

They do not provide toothbrush and toothpaste - bring yourself or can purchase from the counter.

Recommend for those who want experience camping feel and relax atmosphere.

Lovely place qith nice scenary. Many type of rooms available .
There is a fire camp at night.
Car camper type has small space but keep us closely.
The shower room can be enhanced at prevent showering split to the rest room.
That's the only point that I can comment.

Overall, good for a stay.

Great caravan experience in Thailand! Staffs were great! Food was super yummy! Also there were many activities that you can do like kayaking, cycling and camping. At night, they provided you mash mellow, cold fire and crackers for mini camping like old days. There are tent type also.. maybe we can try next time :)

Is a place cannot MISS if you come to Kanchanapuri, there are unexpected fun and great experience to stay here.

The morning breakfast set up was amazing, just to be caution that the kayaking area is open river and there is no safeguard. It might put you in danger when you went too far.

Really cozy place to stay. Have AC inside tent and there is barbeque service. Facilities are complete. They even provide anti-bug device.

One of the best managed resorts in Thailand. Can compete with 5 star resorts in terms of service and hospitality.

we stayed for 3d2n on the campervan for 4 adults, it was fine, the staffs are nice and friendly.

Great and fun place for family with kids, nice camping grounds concept, calm and relax, food is good too

if I could, I would give it 6 stars. Amazing accommodation but more important beautiful hospitality. K. Lea and her daughter made us feeling like home. Will come back.
