Montessori Academy Bangkok International School

As a Montessori teacher, I went as part of a tour and was very impressed with the school and the staff. We spoke with older students who are clearly proud of their school and love being there. I would highly recommend the school.

Our group from New Delhi India was fortunate to have a visit to MABIS as part of our itinerary during the Montessori Congress in Bangkok.
MABIS is all a true Montessori space of learning aspires to be and its wealth lies in its students.They were articulate, extremely well mannered and a joy to be with.
The school itself is well planned and the attention paid to the tiniest of details is commendable.

We love MABIS! The classrooms provide a peaceful and calm working environment. Our son come home excited to share about their day’s work – the hands-on Montessori materials provide a true fundamental understanding of concepts and a fun way for him to learn. Montessori has created a love of learning for our son. The amazing teachers (and truly the entire staff) take such a genuine interest in our child's complete development, and foster such a warm caring environment. They take the time to really learn each personality and learning style and what makes them tick. They have been incredibly supportive, both emotionally and academically. We are very thankful to have found MABIS and thankful to be part of such a supportive community. Highly recommended.

We are extremely happy with this school. Our two kids have attended MABIS for several years now and we have seen their growth both academically and as human beings. Our son was a difficult child when he was a toddler and the school did a stellar job to help him become the confident, calm and happy kid he is today.
The teachers are highly qualified with AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) certifications and have taught for years in different schools and countries. The principal herself is a high achieving professional with several degrees from the U.S.A. (not only in Education, but also attended MIT) with a passion in Education and a deep understanding of the Montessori system, second to none in Thailand.

My daughter had studied in MABIS in the past 2 years. Impressive learning environment for a small size school. A specialised school in promoting Montessori education with passions. Before Covid-19, courses were provided to the parents about the philosophy behind Montessori to facilitate how the parents can collaborate at home.

Understood that some of the parents were unsatisfied with the school arrangements during Covid-19 period.I was also a bit frustrated and troubled by the arrangements as my daughter was in K2 definitely she needed my help with the use of computer for live online classes. But I can see the school had tried their best to arrange as many classes as possible everyday (mostly they had small group online classes so teachers' schedule were quite tight!). Also they prepared materials packs for pick up from school every week trying to keep up with the teaching progress. The school also send out questionnaire regarding the feedback of online learning. Of course it cannot compare with what you've got in campus learning but I can see they really put a lot of effort to make it happens in the New Norm. Certainly things can always be done better. However none of us had gone through this before. Very much appreciate for the school team's hard work and effort throughout the period.

A fantastic trilingual school (English, Thai Chinese) offering the best of what Montessori philosophy and eduction has to offer. My first son joined 9 years ago, when the school just opened and we are SO HAPPY with his development. He will soon enter middle school, first of its kind in Asia and still trilingual. Our second son is of course there as well, since toddler program and soon moving to elementary. The amount of Montessori material available for children is second to none. Many school pretends to be Montessori but I am yet to see an ownership SO DEDICATED to providing at true Montessori eduction and environment.
Montessori eduction is made for every child but not for every family. We truly recommend it and whilst there are other Montessori schools in Bangkok, this one is recognized as the best in Thailand, and arguably in Asia from few experts in the education field I had the pleasure to meet over the years.

Our son has been 5 years in this school, and is now in Elementary 2. Over all that time our son has volunteered repeatedly to us how happy he is to go to school. At age 7 he is conversant in 4 languages, is doing fine in math and other subjects, loves sports, can present to his class, and is generally comfortable in his own skin. We are very happy with his development at the school.

A wonderful well equipped Montessori school. Using the Montessori Method and philosophy to create a perfect start for young children, teaching them from concrete to abstract using all 5 senses, and the child's own inner will to learn. Creating a well rounded student in all aspects of the curriculum.
Then extending into the older students curriculum where they are encouraged to learn through various aspects and forms of educational teaching to suit all students needs. Continuing to use the Montessori Method and philosophy and corporating all aspects of the 5 senses. Creating a confident well rounded student capable of dealing with all situations from many aspects of learning. With an ability to think outside the box as well as surpassing many international schools in Math, Language, Science and Cukture.

Our kids have attended Montessori Academy Bangkok for nearly 5 years now. We can't praise it enough. The school hires top trained Montessori teachers, who have been brilliant in guiding our kids through the early years, through learning how to interact with peers, and through learning how to be independent and creative people! Highly recommended.

MABIS is a wonderful school with such a great community! Montessori Academy gives children the wonderful gift of learning several languages all within a Montessori environment. The staff members are hard working and the owners are generous and kind. Any family would be lucky to call MABIS their child’s school.

I am writing you on behalf of "MAP" which stands for(MABIS Association of Parents). My name is Siri-on Isarakula na ayuthaya. I have been a parent at MABIS where my child has been enrolled for 9 years and currently hold the position of Chairperson of the MAP Committee.

The committee has noticed that a reviewer by the name of "MAP Parents Group" has misappropriated the identity of MAP and posted a damaging review of the school. No one from our committee has ever done this. This is clearly a fake review created by someone with malicious intent to harm the school's reputation.

From my years of experience, this school has always been fair, supportive and offers one of the best quality education in Thailand. Please do come in and meet the teachers as well as parents and decide for yourselves.

As someone who has known and seen mabis for a year, I can’t reject that here’s a professional one. It’s not because everything here’s perfect but here has given everyone chances and helps anytime you fault, parents, teachers, admins and especially students, we’ll get another chance to try it again and again.
