Novotel Bangkok Bangna

This is my second time here. Why am I here again? Becos I remember last time they gave me four welcome drinks!! It’s four! I dun let my hubby drink too much alcoholic unless it’s free. He loves that. That’s why I m here again. 😹

Being a platinum member, you got all the benefits and felt privileged. Welcome fruit and cookies. Member’s check in corner. I m lucky that I can change my room type when arrived becos I thought I booked a king bed.

Hotel is being renovated. New, clean and tidy! Location is perfect too. Healthland is not too far, malls are nearby, it won’t be crowded like major city areas. I got upgraded too with bath tub!! My hubby loves this too!

This is around xmas and new year time. We got calendar and xmas pen! Nice👍🏻😆 you can’t expect more at this price.

Experienced staff brought my luggage to my room and explained to you about the hotel and they won’t ask you for tips. Not even having any feeling they want any. You feel like you are in a luxury hotel!!

Good price, value of money. Hotel a bit far from down town.

But not sure the fruit inside fridge is free for me? or chargeable? Because during checkin doesn’t tell me that is compliment.

Room is fine and good value, I just stay 1 day.

I’m driving, the car park is open car park, so need carry luggage from open car park to lobby. Lucky rain stop when arrive.

Breakfast is standard but good and fresh. No complaints for 1 day stay and I believe will back again next trip. This hotel just stop by for me going out skirt of BKK.

Loved it. Great service, super friendly staff and very nice rooms. Close to Mega Bangna mall and TopGOLF. cCouldn't ask for more.

I enjoyed my stay there. It might not be in the city center, but transportation is cheap in Bangkok.

I arrived an hour early and was very well received by the reception staff who quickly found me an available room. I am on the 10th floor room 11 with a view of the city, the room is very nice and spacious, see the photos. The person at the reception told me that the yellow line of the Sky train has been open since this morning, which now makes it very easy to go either to the airport or to sukhumvit line by samrong station

With the opening of the Yellow Line monorail in June 2023 this very reasonably priced Novotel is linked by the BRT overground system into the City Centre and all the stations that serve different parts of it. The restaurant is good, especially breakfast and staff are excellent. For an affordable longer stay exploring brilliant Bangkok this is a good base.

We only spent one night here. It's 30 minutes by taxi from/to Suvarnabhumi Airport and will cost you B600 each way.

We had room 1311 which had a separate living area & great views to Bangkok.

The room was really good and well appointed with an ensuite bath, shower, toilet and (single) hand basin, plus there is a separate toilet and hand basin near the front door. There are 2 TV's, one in the living area and 1 in the bedroom but sadly no WiFi. Interestingly, there is no bedroom doors, so the living area desk with lamp, faces directly into the bedroom. If like us, 1 of you stays up later than the other, that lamp will be a problem.

It's close to 2 shopping centres, 1 being MegaBangna.
We used the iDrive app to arrange taxi's get around from here & found it worked just as well as in Pattaya and Phuket, and presumably everywhere else in Thailand.

Novotel maintain its room std, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and should allocate more time to enjoy it. There is a lounge at the lobby and the atmosphere is really good to chill out with couple of drinks. Maybe is good to extend the lounge operation hours during world cup period because it closes at 11pm and normally would like to watch football with big screen together with colleagues. Nothing much nearby the hotel, indeed it is ok since GR*B available nowadays.

Great hotel, good food. Staff were friendly. I put the location less one star as there were shops nearby but all about more than 200 metres away.
The mega bangna mall is big, you need 1 day to explore fully. It was about 65 THB by taxi to the mall from the hotel.

Friendly stuffs, near to Mega Bangna. Standard room with 2 single bed is enough for 2 adults 2 children. I was not sure if it was a great idea to book the hotel as I heard people say the room was old and far from everything but not like that at all. It’s very easy to take taxi to the Mega/IKEA and it took just 10-15 to the airport.
The only poor thing was the swimming pool was not open otherwise everything was very good

Hospitality of this place, quality of food, ingredients used is beyond words. No wonder the hotel has maintained their standard through several years of being in business. The international Buffet at the Square looks delicious but my absolute favorite is Shui Xin Chinese restaurant adjacent to the Square. The chef, the management team all need big kudos for bringing out good food and impeccable hospitality.

Lovely stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was luxurious with two double beds, modern furntiure. Lots of complimentary fair trade toiletries provided. The buffet for dinner was so tasty, surprised at the variety in sushi and desserts available. Would highly recommend staying here. Close to the airport.

The staff was exceptionally professional, food was superb and enjoyed the live music at the bar.
I worked offshore oilfield and stayed there one or two nights a month for about 5 years. I live in San Antonio Texas and if I ever get back to Bangkok I will definitely stay there. I remember a trio of singers that were from the philippines....I think one was named Gladys Mae..... She was awesome...

As expected perfect clean modern rooms, good airco the beds are like in heaven the is the standard for a perfect hotel for a normal price.

The breakfast is to much to choose from I never seen a breakfast buffet that big.

The Dinner buffet the same, everything you can imagine is there.

Comparing this hotel with Novotel Siam, this is a better hotel. Its much more professional and even the envelop has the Novotel letter head. While Siam provides your room key in a white envelope. This hotel also allowed me to store my luggage for a day when I will be back the day after.

An alternative hotel to stay in close to the airport and significantly cheaper. I paid ฿3000 for a room at the last minute.

To get here from the airport will cost about ฿230 and takes between 20 and 30 minutes. You take a 'short distance taxi', and you will get that quicker than the other taxis.

The hotel is good. The rooms modern and comfortable. The service excellent. My sleep quality was very high, dark rooms and no noise.

There are a few options for food. Last night I had the spicy lemon grass prawns in the bar. Actually, this dish was amazing.

Excellent hotel within close reach of City centre, great service and attentive staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
