Wat Phuket

Very nice temple or in Thailand 'Wat' . Its a to visit place when you visit Pua. Love the temple set up and how the local enjoyed the temple. We were lucky to meet up with a bunch of young and small school kids doing their services for the temple. Cute... enjoyed our visit to the temple.

I can’t keep my lips together, they are open and keep saying WOW. The view point is jaw dropping. Stunning landscape of rice paddy fields and local houses are so cute. The temple itself looks cool, especially the painting inside. I must say an artist is so creative, there are several cartoons hiding in those paint you have to look carefully. The feeding fish technology is genius 👍 I tried a few desert on the market outside the temple, they are quite good.

There is Budha temple. Beautiful view. You can see the mountains and rice farms around you.

We reached the temple in the late evening, there are still some visitors inside the temple, the weather is nice in December, especially when you are up hill. Seems like every temple has their own animals to feed. This one they have lots of chickens.

Many may wonder isn't Wat Phuket in Phuket?
Phuket is actually derived from the Malay word Bukit which means hill. Wat Phuket is build on hill.

A nicely build temple with lots of activities and nearby stalls makes it even more interesting.

There is a live local dance performance and you can see dogs, cats and chicken living in harmony.

One of the best rice field view in Nan. A must visit place to see the panorama view from the top. The temple itself also has very beautiful art and wall paint of Buddha & dhamma. I love the peaceful atmosphere and kind people here. You can come here for meditation as well as it presents such a supporting environment for inner peace. Monk will hit the bell with beautiful rhythm everyday at noon or 12.00pm.

It is a very beautiful temple on the hill of Pua District, Nan Province.

It is a place of peace with the wonderful view. The temple is on the higher ground that you can see the panorama view of the wide paddy filed and the mountain.

Recommend to stay here 'temply stay', very nice and comfortable (pls. See the photos), waking up with the rice field view in front of your room. Only 500 baht per nice.

Beautiful little temple with great view. There’re local snacks selling in the area. You can also feed fish. At the bottom of the temple there’re clothing store and nice views for photos.
