Have been here 3 times now, the food was very delicious, prices are a little high but it’s not horrible.

We came to have coffee to the shop and is so lovely with garden, friendly staff and amazing coffee!!

Great ambiance, ample seating with the option of sitting out in the beautiful garden, great coffee and food though slightly overpriced. Staff are awesome. This is basically one of the only cafés in the area open as early as 8am (most don’t open until at least 9 or 10), so thank you for that.

So glad I stopped in to ask if they had lodging available! Stayed at a triple bed room, clean, comfortable, cozy!
The grounds are beautiful, charming gardens, and the decor is creative and artsy.
The breakfast was delicious, my husband and I had the omelette, the kids had the Desayuno Típico (typical Salvadoran breakfast). They also sell their own coffee which my husband really enjoyed.

Would definitely recommend as it is also near other tourist attractions!

This should be listed as the best place, best foods and best coffee in El Salvador.

My family decided to explore the whole El Salvador even though it’s not a popular for tourism. Met a nice couple at San Miguel and they highly recommended us to visit Ataco and stay at San Leonardo Cafe. We arrived there at night and they welcome us like a family. The place got a lot of positive spirit. My family decided right away that we are going to extend our stay right away. The place is better than 5 star resort. Very impressive garden that you wished to have one at your backyard. Best foods , and most of all they got the best coffees. If you are coffee fanatic this place will blow your head.
San Leonardo Cafe is going to be the first reason why we are going back to El Salvador.

Really nice place! The omelette was so good and well flavored with fresh herbs. I highly recommend it for breakfast. Since this place is also a roastery we got a really good coffee and a little tour in the roastery, too.

Fantastic fresh organic coffee. The staff was amazing and gave us a tour of the entire coffee process. Known by the locals as the best coffee, espresso, and cappuccinos along the entire Ruta de Flores. Our barista was a true artist who had trained and schooled for two years.

The owners of this restaurant/hotel are the sweetest most accommodating people. The room was very cozy, clean and comfortable.. they offered us 2 free breakfast. They provided hot water and free WiFi.. we were able to connect to the tv from our phone and watch Netflix. The yard is beautiful, filled with flowers and decor. The birds flying around while we were eating breakfast was a beautiful site. The breakfast was delicious and their coffee was to die for. They have a trampoline that we jumped on before we left. I recommend this place to everyone. It is beautiful and the owners treated us as if we were home.

Great coffee! The batista spent an hour with us. Explaining roasting, grinding, and brewing. The actually building is over one hundred years and covered in stylelyzed sheet metal awesome experience

Excelente central location in Ataco aguacatero was a delicious breakfast choice !

Now, Ataco itself is a gem.
This coffee shop is a special place to eat and stay overnight.
